I love taking a pause to journal and admire art during my trips to Vallarta at this little cafe bookstore gallery in Zona! Consistently delicious drinks and courteous staff. It is cash-only payments, so be prepared for that.
What a cool hidden gem. Greeted the moment we walked in. Looked at their coffee bean selection, picked one, and sat down. Ordered a couple bagels and some ice tea. Fantastic taste. When we decided to leave our server asked about our coffee bean selection, we explained we like a dark roast. They knew we chose the wrong one for our taste. Set me straight. Can't wait to try it in the morning.
Lovely combination bookstore and coffee shop. The seating is comfortable and the Wi-Fi is good but beware in the warm season it gets very hot inside. They do have a few fans but you're still going to sweat.
Excellent cafe with amazing coffee drinks, desserts and books to enjoy while in this space. Staff is knowledge and very friendly. The brownies were phenomenal, cookies were delicious, bagged coffee for home use was incredible, cakes scrumptious and the coffee beverages I choose were made extremely well. Within the same building is the Demetro Galería, by sculptor/artist, Jim Demetro. Incredible place to view art, read a book, or have a conversation... All while enjoying a great cup of coffee!
The cafe is really good and very artistic. It has a well known library and a gallery, and the outdoor area is very pretty. They allow dogs and have Wi Fi. They offer cheesecakes and an espresso orange drink, also called espresso sunshine. Everything was good overall, but I found the cheesecake flavor a bit weak. The washrooms were clean. Please note that they only accept cash, not cards
June 2026 - Latte, Americano, chillaquiles rojo with egg and chicken (The dish consists of tortilla pieces that are fried or baked until crisp and then simmered in a flavorful sauce until they begin to soften but retain some texture with red salsa) Good wifi. No air conditioning but lots of fans. It is also a ibrary, book store, and art gallery. About $22 USD all in
Decent breakfast in a gallery. Tables are perfect for 2 with 4 a challenge. They forgot our order so a quick breakfast became an hour event.
