The place is really pretty, a rooftop restaurant. The bread, butter, jam, pastries and drinks 10/10. My friends enjoyed their dishes. My huevos rancheros weren’t what I was expecting so I wouldn’t be ordering them again. The place is $16 per dish which is considered expensive for Mexico City.. the coffee was ok. I asked for my eggs medium but they had the white part undercooked. Service was 20/10, everyone very nice and the view was nice.
Amazing food and drinks! We loved the ceviche and scallop appetizer, and the grilled bass was incredible — served with avocado, pickled vegetables, and tortillas. The mezcalita and Paloma were both excellent. Breakfast was also great! The buffet looked delicious, but we preferred ordering from the à la carte menu — the chilaquiles were outstanding. Highly recommend!
Had the best dinner here! The staff was so kind and welcoming, and the experience was top notch. The pavlova was the best dessert I’ve ever had in my life, i wish I could have one everyday.
Pleasantly surprised as I’m usually skeptical of hotel restaurants. But the tacos were awesome definitely ask for the spicy sauces The service is attentive & the servers are knowledgeable about gluten free options. They even offered complimentary gluten free bread with an amazing tomato/herb butter
Amazing experience! Our waiter, Ruben, was attentive and friendly, and the host was so welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious, and the view made everything even better. Definitely recommend! - Sinceramente, los del aniversario
Spectacular dinner with a great view of El Angel de la Indpendencia Dinner at Balta was fantastic - we started with the croquetas for an appetizer, which were delicious. For the main course, my husband had the octopus (perfectly tender with a great char) and I had the ravioli de maíz, which was incredible. We finished the meal with the chocolate torta for dessert, and cafe con horchata. The atmosphere is very nice, sophisticated, and the views overlooking the city lights are stunning. A huge shoutout to Ramon and Ruben—their service was phenomenal and made our evening even more special. Highly recommend!
This was not my first choice of restaurant, but I want to say that the staff really made it a great experience. We had a couple of different plates and 0 complaints. Their house bread is made with beats and their house spread was amazing. I never had anything like that in the states. Their pollo was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Thei cheeseburger with flor de Calabasas was also really juicy and delicious. Balta also had decent views of the Angel de Independencia.
