This is a historic restaurant and is one of the beat places to dine in Toronto when you are craving Italian food, right in little Italy of Toronto area and the best place for watching football or any other sports event this place has the environment and the energy for that. The place sells alcohol and has no halal options but you can have other non meat options and they have egg options and baked option too

Met up with a group of three at Cafe Diplomatico to catch the Blue Jays game—it was a full house, so we ended up sitting indoors, though their patio is hands down the best spot. Still, it was really enjoyable with great TV setups for watching the match. I went with the tomato seafood pasta on the waiter’s recommendation, and it didn’t disappoint. The place was buzzing, but the staff were super friendly and helpful throughout. Portions are huge—I had to share nearly half my pasta with a friend, especially since they serve free bread that’s fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable too, around twenty-something for everything. Definitely coming back for the next game!

Located in Little Italy, we went to watch a game because they have a big screen and accept walk-ins. Pizza is delicious and we also had the chicken parmesian which was tasty. For dessert I had gelato but it was more like the regular ice cream you buy in the market, not Italian gelato I was hoping for. Would surely come again.

Stumbled on this restaurant while walking the neighborhood and it was an awesome choice! The history is amazing, the server above and beyond plus the food is dee-liscious! Reminded me of my Italian Grandfather's restaurant in the 60's. The authentic traditional pizza was perfect, the calamari and shrimp salad was fresh and "real". The desserts? Awesome! Gelato, tiramisu, carrot cake, pistachio cheesecake plus more. A wonderful find.

This beautiful old school Italian restaurant is truly a top end Toronto establishment. Being Italian, I'm serious about our food. Cafe Diplomatico never disappoints! Had another great meal here. The Veal Parm and Penne Ala Vodka was exceptional. So was the Italian sandwich! Dessert was top notch too! Service was even better! Staff are so friendly and work hard! Thank you Cafe Diplomatico for another wonderful dinner! Keep up the great work!
