Fantastic place in El Triunfo. Food was great. Expect around $400 a plate. The courtyards are beautiful and nice and cool in the heat of the day.

I’m going to start by making an apology for not taking a picture of the BEST croissant almendra we have ever had. I say “we” because my wife and I split it. It was huge, but more importantly, it was light, flaky, moist filling. This is a guilty pleasure and we have had croissants all over Europe. This was hands down the best. We are also saying this confessing that Mexican pastries are not our favorite. You owe it to yourself to stop and grab lunch or a pastry at this place. We then walked and did a self guided tour of the abandoned gold mine. Indulge yourself on this stop when passing through Triunfo, you won’t be sorry.

Beautiful courtyard restaurant right beside the mining museum. The bread was amazing. Friendly, prompt service. Would recommend.

One of our favorite towns in Baja and off the beach. A different vibe. Good food. Great pueblito to walk around and check out.

Cute little unassuming spot. When you first enter, it seems very small but it actually opens up to a beautiful garden/terraced cafe in the back. The food is excellent, especially the homemade bread. Will definitely come back here just to pick up bread and take it back to Cabo with us. Service is great and fast; everyone is nice. Great little day trip from Cabo and beautiful space to just grab a snack and coffee and sit back and relax. The sandwiches and salads are delicious. The greens are so fresh and are local. The pizza is good, too. Coffees and juices also yummy! Really, I’m sure anything you get here will be fantastic. Also, they give you bread with olive oil and balsamic to start—and I could have eaten it all! Will definitely be back, Cafe El Triunfo! Thank you!!

This little town is 1000% worth the trip. Next time we are in the area, we plan to stay in the town for a couple of nights. The mine tour is excellent, and the area is a hidden gem! Absolutely the best bakery I have ever been to!

I always love stopping in for a slice of cake! For my wedding, I ordered a bunch of their cakes for our dessert table and they were a huge hit! Everyone would not stop talking about how delicious the cheesecake, carrot cake, and chocolate cakes were. They even delivered them to La Ventana, which made it so easy.

Found this little gem and is a must visit. It's very much worth the drive from La Paz. The fresh baked bread is amazing. I had the chicken salad on fresh baked croissant, which melts in your mouth! Everyone was very happy with their own plate. We will definitely go back!!
