We went to Chine Pot for a girls’ night out, and wow—we couldn’t have picked a better place! There’s an amazing variety of broths and variety of ingredients to choose from, everything is super fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly affordable. The restaurant has a cozy vibe, and the add-on sauce station is a huge bonus—you can customize everything exactly to your taste. The food was absolutely delicious, with rich flavors and generous portions. The staff was fantastic and kept refilling our broth without us even asking. One of the best parts? If you have leftover broth after dinner, you can take it home! The place is very clean, well-organized, and clearly popular, so I’d definitely recommend making a reservation. Overall, it’s an excellent spot for a workplace dinner, date night, or family gathering. We had an amazing time and will definitely be coming back!

Chine Hot Pot has become one of my friend group’s favourite spots in the city and for good reason. We meet here regularly and every single time it turns into one of those long dinners where nobody wants to leave. The best part is how customizable everything is. They have multiple different broths to choose from so everyone can build something completely different depending on what they’re craving. Whether you want something rich and spicy, comforting, or more mild, there’s genuinely something for everyone. Being able to fully customize your soup with all your own ingredients honestly makes the experience so fun and interactive. It feels less like just going out for dinner and more like an experience you end up talking about after. The food is always fresh, the atmosphere is lively, and it’s one of those places that works perfectly for groups because everyone gets exactly what they want. If you love hot pot and haven’t been here yet, you’re seriously missing out.

This was my first experience with hot pot, and I enjoyed it! It can be a bit overwhelming the first time with all the options for food and the sauces, so you need to be willing to experient. And you definitely go for the experience and not just because you want food. You'd get tastier, and cheaper, food elsewhere. But this is fresh, and you can make it how you want it. They have a few premade dishes that you can order, such as ginger beef; I tried that and it was really quite good. Service was also excellent. Absolutely make a reservation though, it was very busy when I went.

This is a great place to enjoy hot pot with a group. While the selection isn’t as extensive as some other places, the basics are there. They also have a good variety of broths and a dipping sauce station. The soup was a bit too salty for my taste, but I was able to adjust it to my liking. Overall, it’s an okay hot pot place.

What a fantastic hot pot experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The broths were amazing, and the seafood and vegetables were excellent. A special thank you to Jessica and Safia for their outstanding customer service. I accidentally spilled my soup, and they immediately rushed over to help, cleaned everything up, and made sure everything was taken care of. Their kindness and professionalism really stood out. The entire team was friendly, smiling, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurant was clean, organized, and had a cozy atmosphere that made the experience even more enjoyable. My partner loved it so much that she already said this will become one of her favorite places to return to, especially on those cooler Calgary days when a hot pot is exactly what you need. One important tip: take the spice levels seriously! When they say spicy, they mean spicy. And when they say extreme spicy, they REALLY mean extreme spicy. Choose your heat level carefully unless you’re ready for a serious challenge! Amazing food, amazing service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
