Sat at the bar on a really busy night. The manager Niel took care of us so well. The gluten free options were flavorful; the pizza was foldable & able to hold toppings, the pasta was perfectly cooked & nothing tasted like it was 'gluten free"
I enjoyed visiting this place. Really like the brutalist/industrial design of the interior/decor. The food came at a reasonable time. It's not too loud. Easy to have conversation. I can tell the ingredients are good and I like the crust of the pizza. The calamari was alright. I was satisfied but honestly didn't amaze me. But maybe it's just me. Washroom was clean. A little tight but it's cool that the oven is apart of it. Overall though, these guys did everything right and I think anybody would enjoy their visit.
Really loved the place . I ordered vegetarian gluten free pizzas and every bite was so flavourful . They have good drinks option and cocktails are worth trying

We recently visited Defina Restaurant to try their famous wood-fired oven pizza, and it was an absolute delight. We ordered the Diva Margherita pizza, which was incredibly delicious, along with the Rigatoni pasta, and both dishes were full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The food was not only satisfying but also beautifully presented. The ambience of the restaurant was very pleasant, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the service was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would highly recommend Defina as a must-visit spot for anyone who enjoys great food and a cozy environment.
We went there for lunch on Valentine's Day, and the experience was truly enjoyable. The vibe was great, and I especially loved the warm olives topped with a bit of feta cheese, perfectly paired with the variety of cocktails from their menu. The pizzas were quite good—not the best I’ve had, but definitely better than many other places. The service was decent, and the interiors were thoughtfully designed, adding to the overall ambiance. We had the best wedding reception at Defina Wood Fired. From the start, Neil and his team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Leading up to the wedding, Neil was super helpful with all the planning, and his team was incredibly flexible—accommodating dietary restrictions, setting up seating charts, and even showing up the day before to help with our decor. On the day of the wedding, the food was amazing, and the service was spot on. Our guests are still talking about how good everything was, and the whole evening felt so smooth and stress-free. We’re so thankful to Neil and his team for making our reception such a special experience and for creating memories we’ll never forget. We’re so happy we chose Defina—it was the perfect place for our celebration. Thank you Neil and the Defina Team!
