This place is so great! I love the food, the taste of the fresh seafood, the people, the great atmosphere, and the service. I remember two guys who we're very kind; their names are Christian and Isaías. Very kind and handsome too haha. I'll definitely be back.
You’ll have to wait a bit to enjoy this jewel but they have tequila shots to enjoy your waiting. Christian had a blast helping my table. A place everybody should come.
My first visit. The guy who seated me reminded me it was cash only and I thanked him for that even though I knew. I had three tacos, the two marlin ones being the best. I had a margarita which was the big one and it was a average. The wait staff are terrific and they give you a little glass of kalua as a post dinner appertif. Atmosphere is really pretty good. I will go back before leaving for home.
We walked in and were offered a tequila shot. Yes, please?! Vibes- nice open layout seating wise. Upstairs and downstairs. Mostly Nacionales/locals and as a tourist, makes it more credible. Service- everyone we interacted with was friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Chava who took great care of us. Drinks- margarita’s were huge and well made. Food- we got guacamole, fish tacos, tostadas, and empanadas. All were a good portion size and well seasoned/spiced. I’m trying to pic a fave, but it’s tough. Maybe the freshness of the mixed fish on the tostada. Oh yea, they started us off with shrimp soup to taste.
Reasonable prices and very good food! Limited seating so expect to wait for your table since no reservations accepted! Cash only and you can bring your own wine!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 El Coleguita delivered one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and things only got better from there. The food was absolutely incredible—fresh ingredients, bold flavors, and every dish came out perfectly cooked. You can really tell they take pride in what they serve. But the real star of our visit was our server, Alejandro. His service went above and beyond. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. He checked in at all the right times, offered great recommendations, and made sure everything we ordered was exactly the way we wanted it. It’s rare to find someone who brings that level of attention and positive energy to the table. Between the amazing food and Alejandro’s exceptional service, El Coleguita has definitely earned a top spot on our list of favorite places. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly, highly recommend!
