I took my girlfriend here since we happened to be in the area and it simply blew us away! I like big portions and she likes protein/health foods, so it’s sometimes hard to find a place we both like. But Flips has it all, and we’ll definitely be back!
Flips has an extensive menu. I really enjoyed their breakfast plates. The sausage is very tasty and careful hot! everything is greasy but that makes the food tastier. The pancakes were mid. The hot chocolate is perfect for the cold weather. Their burger reminds me of Krabby patty, very well presented. I love the smashed patty. The all-meat omelette is very filling as it has ham, bacon, sausage and egg. We had to take the half home. The fries were perfectly cooked and tasty and hot too! A quaint breakfast place. Love the atmosphere and interior design. It is very homey. Servers are accommodating too. Service is fast and efficient. The spaces though in between tables are minimal. Stroller is not recommended if you have a baby.

I went to Flips last weekend and the service was incredible! When I arrived I sat down and was greeted by a wonderful young woman named Arsh. Although the food did take a while, when it came out, it was delicious. I got the French toast breakfast. The eggs were perfectly cooked to my liking and the French toast was nice and toasty. Arsh kept refilling my coffee and asked if there was anything else I needed. The breakfast wasnt that expensive and was worth it. I would come again in the future.
First visit and a very enjoyable experience. The food was delicious, the staff very friendly and the restaurant very clean. Special mention to Costa whose excellent service made this experience so special.
Visited this restaurant for breakfast last week. This was my second visit to the restaurant and this time by myself. The food is very delicious and the portions are huge. I guess the size of the portions makes up for the cost . Tried the campfire skillet for the first time and wasn't disappointed. A little on the oily side, but I guess that contributes to the yummy taste. Also took a cup of brewed coffee. It's a busy place and many people have breakfast here which means it's popular. The place is clean and there is ample seating. Parking is free. The server seemed to be in a little hurry. He wanted me to give an order before I had the chance to properly see the menu. He also gave me the box (to pack what I couldn't eat) and the cheque, before I asked for it, while I was still finishing my breakfast and coffee. Wasn't sure why that was the case as the restaurant wasn't in full capacity when I was seated.
We love this place specifically for breakfast. We generally visit on a weekday (we have the luxury of coming during the week) and the food is always delicious. Costa has been our server most of the time and service is always good. But back to the food…eggs cooked perfectly, all their meats are excellent but we especially love the sausages. Best potatoes, crispy, spicy, addictive. We haven’t tried any lunch items yet because we love the breakfast so much but maybe in 2026!
