I don't know what they put in their food to make it taste so good. As soon as you take your first bite POP! The flavors are incredible. All I had was the chicken Quesadillas, probably the best I ever had.

Lovely, fresh seafood with generous portions. The whole fried snapper, fish ceviche and seafood soup were really well done. The potato salad side dish with the mains was very good as well. Live music on a Wednesday night and busy enough without being crowded. Friendly service. Located at the marina, street parking adjacent. Indoor and outdoor seating. No issues with bathrooms, hygiene or flies whatsoever.

Brought our fresh mahi mahi here and they cooked it (ceviche and Baja fish tacos). We had about half of it and donated the rest! Delicious. We added guacamole and salsa and had a large margarita (also very good). The restaurant has a little beach which is fun for kids. It’s tucked down a little side street. Head waiter is very friendly and helpful (the older waitress is a little grumpy!). It appears they have a darts section, but didn’t play. Highly recommend!

Absolutely tasty seafood consume. Out of this world..... They served my steak on a sizzling patter, which was nice. However, you should order it less than what you want as far as how done it is, because it keeps cooking. Mine went from medium to well done.

I've spent winters in La Paz since 2008, and have eaten in a great many restaurants. I nearly always order the same thing: garlic fish. You'd think that with such a simple dish the result would be largely the same, but believe me it is not. Some places use oil and no butter. Some places skimp on the garlic, and most don't pay attention to how they cook the garlic; you gotta get the temperature right so it's lightly browned but not burned. Some places fry a piece of fish then dump dry garlic from a bulk pot on the top, rather than using the garlic to flavor the butter, cooking the fish in the butter so it picks up the flavor, then adding the garlic back in at the end. And even some of the most expensive restaurants use poor quality fish. I've had the garlic fish at La Costa probably 30 times, and it has always been spot-on, to the extent that it's spoiled me for other restaurants. I love that they offer a half order too, so I don't end up paying way too much to come away feeling like a stuffed pig. Oh, and their margaritas are also outstanding. To top it off, Tony the waiter is super welcoming and friendly. I'm English, and even I can't find anything to complain about at La Costa

Very nice place in the marina! Neat atmosphere with great service. Delicious food and there happened to be live music when we went. Not sure when they usually do that. Hubby and I had a nice date night!
