We had breakfast here on our last day in Mexico City, and it was such a nice experience. We didn’t order the house specialty because it felt a bit too heavy for us that morning, but the dishes we did get were really good. The sope was delicious, and everything felt hearty and full of substance. We could also see how much care went into the food. What stood out even more was the honesty and kindness of the staff. I had asked for a sope with scrambled eggs but was served one with sunny-side-up eggs instead. I honestly wouldn’t have made an issue out of it, but a few minutes later the server came over, explained that it was his mistake, and brought me scrambled eggs at no extra charge, aww..! I really appreciated that honesty, especially at such a local restaurant. It made the whole experience feel even warmer. Definitely recommend.

Just come here. Delicious food, great service. There was a line after 9:30 (thankfully I arrived earlier) and I'd say it moved fast and was worth it. Nathaly was great!n definitely recommended. The portions are generous, too.

The food here is amazing and the environment is really pleasant. It was not crowded at all on a Monday around noon, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our waiter, Luis, was incredibly helpful for us since we speak zero Spanish. He was patient and made everything easy to understand, which made the whole visit very delightful. We ordered the pancita chica and four tacos, and everything was very tasty—especially the pancita, which was absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back again and again!

Luis was an exceptional server, helped us with our order even though we don’t speak Spanish. Food was excellent and restaurant was clean and bright. Very local spot, not too many tourists. The famous Panicita beef soup was flavorful. Will order a small next time as the portion was huge, we shared a large between 2 people and still can’t finish it.

La Pancita de la Roma is a restaurant I will never forget. It was my very first stop in the city, and I have absolutely no regrets. The menudo was exceptional, rich, comforting, and exquisitely prepared. The chilaquiles con mole were equally memorable, perfectly balanced with a subtle sweetness that lingered in the best way. Beyond the food, the service made the experience truly special. From the constant refills of bread, tortillas, cheese, and sour cream to the genuine care in every interaction, they made me feel completely at home. The people working here are clearly hardworking, yet they carry such warmth, kindness, and always a smile. I’m deeply grateful for this experience. La Pancita de la Roma didn’t just feed me, it welcomed me.
