I really enjoyed eating in this restaurant The service was good but there was some issue as the English menu said one thing and the actual food was a bit different for example salad instead of roasted potatoes.. It's on the main Street, but there's not much noise, and we ate outside. Food was good and tasty
I’ve been traveling around Mexico for the past two weeks—Mexico City, Bacalar, Mérida, Campeche, and finally Cancún—and I’ve eaten and had drinks at different places along the way. I can honestly say that La Playita was the best meal of the entire trip. Both the food and the drinks are incredibly unique, with special and unexpected flavor combinations, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!
Amazing steak and mixed cerviche! Lemade and tortillas also good! (Note to myself) Worth a revisit. The venue was also not too noisy with responsive service when I visited at around 130pm on a quiet weekday.
My friend Rodrigo recommended this place and boy, Thanks my man for the hint. Really good, authentic, delicious and good price seafood and all types of goodies here. Seafood is super fresh, big plates and withe awesome prices. They won't reap you off like in the hotel area! The drinks are delicious, love their margaritas! The samplers and the salsas are great also. Do yourself a favor and try them!
Really great local restaurant to get your lobster taco fix on! Their coconut shrimp was OK. It wasn't your traditional coconut shrimp that is fileted and flat then breaded with coconut shreds. The lobster tacos was really good! The presentation was really pretty. The ribeye tacos were good but had some fatty pieces in it (which I discarded). Bathroom is well kept and nice. Would definitely come back again!
We accidentally discovered this place. The food is absolutely incredible. I spent the whole week enjoying lobster tacos, ceviche, and tuna, while my husband opted for burgers, and the kids had meat dishes and soups. The staff’s attitude towards children is fantastic. My daughter was thrilled with the waiters and their friendly and cheerful interaction with her. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this place.

The frozen mango miche was such a yummy drink! Highly recommend. Tip: ask for a spoon, the candy straw was not my thing. And don’t pull out the mini Tecaita too early! The seafood was so fresh and delicious. One of the many delicious restaurants we tried in Cancun. Loved it!
