Best Indian restaurant in town. Everything in their menu is amazing. Great customer service, everything in time, no long wait time. Nice atmosphere and the store is super clean. Tried the mutton biryani today and it was top notch. Must visit. Ranga Anna is so good with every customer and serves everything with a smile on his face.

During our visit to Kamloops, we tried a few restaurants, but Madras Masala & Grill truly stood out and won our hearts. We ordered biryani, idli, and medu vada, and everything was absolutely delicious. The idli and vada were fresh and perfectly prepared, the biryani was full of flavour, and the home-style juice was a wonderful way to finish our meal. What we loved most was the freshness, authentic taste, and the care put into preparing each dish. It felt like a comforting homemade meal away from home. On our next trip to Kamloops, Madras Masala & Grill will definitely be on our list again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for tasty South Indian food and great flavours!

This place has the best South Indian food (for vegetarians) in the town! We were travelling and stopped by here as we needed good vegetation options. Medu vada was 10/10! The utta pam was also 10/10. We also had paneer makhani dosa and that was 10/10 the best dosa we’ve had. Rasam was 6.5/10. The chutney and samdar was also let good. The food is very good but the cleanliness of the place is lacking. I hope next time it’s more clean looking (tables and dishes) but definitely would recommend this place

Wonderful south indian cuisine, I eat here every once in a while and am never disappointed with what I get. Generous portions and good service combined with a competitive price make it a good pick in my books.

I visited Madras Masala, and overall the food experience was genuinely impressive. The flavors were rich, authentic, and clearly made with care — every dish had that comforting, homestyle South Indian touch. The spices were well-balanced, portions were generous, and the presentation was appealing. It’s definitely a place I would recommend purely based on the quality of the food. However, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by an uncomfortable situation. There was a mid-aged bald chef in the kitchen area who was loudly and aggressively shouting at one of the servers, Anisha, in front of customers. It created a very tense atmosphere in what should have been a relaxed dining setting. What stood out even more was how Anisha handled it — she remained calm, composed, and professional throughout, despite being treated unfairly. Good food can bring people in, but the overall environment and respect within the team matter just as much. I truly hope the management addresses this, because the restaurant has great potential and staff like Anisha deserve to work in a respectful and supportive environment.

During our visit to Kamloops, we tried several restaurants, but this one truly won our hearts. Every member of our family enjoyed every dish we ordered. My son absolutely loves goat curry, and he was so impressed that he has already asked us to come back just for that dish! We also ordered the set dosa for our little one, and it was perfectly prepared with excellent quality and taste. For ourselves, we enjoyed the Idli Vada, Kothu Paratha, and an amazing home-style coffee that was the perfect finish to our meal. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. On our next trip to Kamloops, a visit to Madras Masala & Grill will definitely be on our itinerary. Highly recommended!

Taste was okay overall—not bad, not mind-blowing. The lamb masala dosa? Easily the star of the show—flavor-packed and worth the trip. Special Madras dosa was fine, nothing special. Chicken Chettinad? Meh. Could’ve used more punch. Service was ebi-able (aka just about okay).
