Nice spot next to best western. Great wood fired pizza. Roasted broccolini and mushrooms made for lite dinner for two. Many locals came in so speaks to quality. Wish we could have tried more but... next time we are up this way we will try again.
We had the chance to enjoy a meal here over the weekend and we tried the Burrata along with the Pesto Risotto with Prawns. I’m still dreaming about the Burrata, easily one of the best Italian dishes I’ve had!! The service was incredibly kind, even with our large group at the community table, and the hosts graciously fit us in as walk-ins. On top of that, the space itself is stunning. You can tell so much thought and intention went into every detail, right down to the sweetest gingham cotton napkins. Thank you, Marzano team!
Came to Nelson for a overnight stay, best Italian food I’ve had in Canada so far. In terms of atmosphere an upscale modernized Italian spot, you can come here either with friends, couples, and even by yourself you’ll have a great time! Definitely recommend the pizza feature (which I had). I loved the Coniglio Campanelli. The Dark Chocolate Dome was incredible. Also thank you for Tyson with amazing service and all staff there are incredible. One of the best run restaurants I’ve seen. Will be coming back no question!
This Italian restaurant is as good as it gets. The interior and atmosphere are excellent. The menu is very good, the food even better and the staff are friendly and helpful. On my recent two week roadtrip, this place was hands down, the best of all the restaurants we did, and there were many. I wish this was in my home town.
We had breakfast at Marzano during our stay at Best Western Plus Baker Street Inn. The food itself was amazing throughout the stay — fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The granola breakfast bowl and potato rosetti are definite must-tries. However, the service experience during the first two days was disappointing. The server seemed inexperienced and did not explain that substitutions were available, which made the experience feel a bit rushed and limited. Hence the 4 star. Our experience completely changed on the last day thanks to a different server who was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and proactive in explaining the menu options and substitutions. That level of service made a huge difference and ended our stay on a positive note. 5 stars for her!!
The best dinner we’ve had in Nelson, and honestly coming from Vancouver, this Italian food was one par with the top in the city. Absolutely a must visit! Their gnocchi and pizza is to die for. Thin crust for the win

I had a pleasant evening for my birthday. As someone from Italy who has worked with maestro pizza makers from Naples, I can say that the Margherita at Marzano is the closest I’ve found to the original here in B.C. They offer an interesting wine menu with an outstanding Lambrusco as the daily feature. The service was quick and relaxed, and the overall vibe was great.
