Alfonso makes a great breakfast and lunch. I have been coming hear for years. I got my first taste of menudo here after landing in Guadalajara. The place can get crowded but the service is fast and a place at the bar usually opens up fast. The grilled meats are also really good. They have some staples like carne asada and lamb, as well as a couple of exotics like ostrich. There are few places in the Guadalajara where you can eat so well for such a great price. When I was going to school the breakfasts were 35 pesos. And you can't beat the tortillas. Seriously the best!

A very good food stall in Mercado Abastos, a large wholesale market, thar serves very good Mexican dishes. Their condiments are great and you can order fresh squeezed orange juice.

Todo estaba buenazo, recomendado. El servicio bueno y rápido. Me comí una carne en su jugo grande, 1 quesadilla y un agua de maracuyá, quedé como campeón. Hay una mesa justo en el centro de la cocina, pienso que en invierno será un muy buen spot para comer calientito.

Great steak, excellent variety of salsas, and quick service. Surprisingly comfortable. This is my favorite carne asada restaurant, the breakfast are also good. I haven't tried the menudo yet, but I sure it's great also.

Excelente sitio para comer deliciosas carnes asadas, un rico menudo o muchos platillos más, yo probé las enfrijoladas de arrachera y de asada con un pedazo de chorizo, verdaderamente deliciosas, los precios muy accesibles y la atención es muy rápida pero un poco grosera, punto a mejorar. El lugar aunque es típico de mercado es bastante cómodo y con mucho lugar. Aceptan pagos con tarjeta de crédito y débito arriba de $100. Un lugar que no se pueden perder.
