Very welcoming, great food and drinks with outstanding service is what rates this bar so highly. Our server, Elisa, looked after us really well and our stay ended up extending from breakfast through lunch and onward. Highly recommend.

But of a hidden gem from the road. Once you walk down the path to the seating area it's a great little spot overlooking the beach. Servers were nice and spoke some English, little slow to check on refills, getting the check etc, but still super friendly. No beer on the menu but they have beer you just have to ask. Corona was 50 pesos (same as most places). Overall worth the visit for sure.

Amazing beach bar and restaurant. Friendly service. They have beach chairs without extra costs, just what you consume. Lots of seating options and a great selection of cocktails and food. It’s a very inviting atmosphere with chill lounge music and ideal for a beach day, brunch, lunch or dinner. Prices are very reasonable as well! Some people go there especially for pina coladas as they have a happy hour and refills.

Amazing beach club. Comfy, laid back and relaxed. Music not too loud. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Cocktails are delicious!!! Would 100% recommend for a relaxed beach day. Also they have happy hour with $150 peso Pina Colada in a fresh Pineapple with $25 pesos refill between 17:00-20:00!

Nice place to sit and enjoy the beach. However, our first waitress was very pushy we order drinks as soon as we arrived - encouraging us to get cocktails worth a certain price early on in the day. We assured her we’d order later and she kept staring at us and coming over until we satisfied her by ordering. Another waitress was extremely helpful in finding vegan menu options and overall, it’s good value for the sun loungers. We paid $430 for 2x beds in food & drink. Worth noting all the drinks were warm too. Needed lots of ice. Shame you can’t swim in the sea! Nowhere to cool off.

You can tell Palpita pays close attention to detail. The romantic lighting, great music, and flowers on the tables create such a beautiful, intentional atmosphere. The food was delicious and the vibe was perfect—but the real reason we came back the very next day was the service. Our server, Santiago, made my birthday dinner truly special. He went above and beyond, even adding a candle to my dessert without being asked, which was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. His warmth and attentiveness elevated the entire experience. Santiago is an asset to the Palpita team, and because of his service, this place now holds a special meaning for us. We can’t wait to return.

We just had drinks and snacks and loved the place. Food is good, staff is supportive and friendly, ambience is the best. Pineapple juice was pure and fresh and I loved the vegan hot dog.
