We had lunch here, and we are so glad we did! Delicious tacos and wonderful service. We had the birria tacos and Arrachera de res tacos, which were just carne asada with pinto beans. So delish!

This was the best restaurant we tried while in Puerto Vallarta. The service was amazing and very welcoming — it truly feels like a family-owned place where they care about their guests. Everything was very clean, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. They don’t accept credit cards, but they do accept USD at a fair exchange rate, which was convenient. We would absolutely come back and highly recommend it.

We started off with guacamole and chips, I only needed to add salt, but other than that it was great, it was nice and chunky with onions, tomatoes, and cilantro. I had garlic grilled shrimp taco, golden fried mahi taco, and two crispy birria tacos. My wife had a golden fried mahi taco, and two el pastor shrimp tacos. The food was great, very flavorful. They brought out pickled red onions and Habaneros, a hot sauce, onions marinated in hot sauce, and a creme with avocado and cilantro. All were very good to put on our tacos. It was a few blocks off the main roads, but well worth it. Our server was awesome, very patient with us gringos. She explained everything very well when we asked questions. We would, and will, definitely go back. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting good authentic Mexican food. This place has been in business for over 30 years.

Birria Dorado tacos and battered shrimp tacos are really good here. Service is excellent. Be sure to get the drink of the day.

Excellent shrimp ceviche, shrimp tacos, Arrachera Rest and birria tacos. The guava aqua del dia was very refreshing. Great service. Great prices. A pleasent departure from all the touristy restaurants in PV. We will be back.
