Prairie Ink Restaurant + Bakery inside McNally Robinson Booksellers is an absolute delight and a must-visit in Saskatoon! This place perfectly blends the joy of discovering a new book with the pleasure of a fantastic meal. The atmosphere is simply magical. You're surrounded by books, with cozy seating, and that incredible tree sculpture with the spiral staircase is truly a centerpiece. It's the ideal spot to relax, whether you're dining alone with a good read or catching up with friends.

5 stars This place genuinely surprised me. It’s sitting inside a bookstore which already sounds like a gimmick, but Prairie Ink pulls it off without feeling like a tourist trap. The space is warm and unpretentious, high ceilings, wood everywhere, portraits of Canadian writers lining the walls. You can see the kitchen from your table which I always appreciate. The food is actually good. Not “good for a bookstore restaurant” good. Just good. The menu has more thought behind it than you’d expect and the portions are solid. Service was relaxed without being slow. The bakery case is the real danger zone though. You’re going to walk past it on the way out and you’re going to make decisions you didn’t plan on making. They do their own cakes in house and it shows. The crowd is an interesting mix, old regulars who’ve clearly been coming for years, people killing time browsing the bookstore, families. Nobody’s in a rush and the vibe matches that. It’s the kind of lunch spot where you end up staying longer than you meant to. Saskatoon doesn’t have enough places like this. Worth going out of your way for.

Four of us stopped in to celebrate family bday . Lindsay was an amazing server with great sense of making us feel welcomed. The soup was amazing and also the Date grilled cheese. One of us had the Italian cream soda, the other had a Caesar . Perfect afternoon we will return . Salmon cakes are also a favourite. Thank you for making the bday lunch so great

Recently, we have been to this place for a quick brunch. We were a little lost since the place has two ways to enter. A hostess immediately led us to the entryway. We were seated immediately. We ordered the roasted veggies pizza with goat cheese - it was absolutely Devine. The next thing we ordered was soup and salad combo. The soup was creme of mushrooms, it was delicious. With a side of in-house bread, we weren't too fond of it. The salad was pear and blue cheese topped with walnuts. The ingredients were really fresh and we enjoyed the food. Some of the servers were too rude, but ours was a delight, abbie was great at conversation. We will probably visit again to try their dessert menu.

Delightful spur-of-the-moment lunch at McNally-Robinson's, Saskatoon today.....delicious London Fog and Teriyaki Salmon bowl.....sorry, got carried away before I took photos! Shout out to our server, Callum, who was superb.

Went to breakfast. Amazing service and atmosphere. I was not in love with the omelette to be honest nor the potatoes with it. I did prefer the breakfast burrito (sorry no picture), however, I wish the fruit options were something other than cantaloupes cuz I don’t eat those, or maybe offer other sides. Loved the carrot cake! And I have also tried their London fog which I think is the best in the city!!

Usually good. Sometimes slow. However I am happy I can get a gluten free sandwich with gluten free bread that isn’t awful. Soups are usually pretty good and always seem to have a gluten free option and a vegan option, so easy to go with people who have dietary restrictions
