Oldest chinese restaurant in mexicali..very good food and low prices..get the Vaquita..
Food always great, hands down, place is old and it looks like nothing but you gotta understand, this place is been open since 1938
We shared a combination meal (#1) that was huge and delicious. Several chicken dishes and pork, too. Would feed 4 people easily. We shared with a table of men near us.
This place is a great stop if you’re crossing the border or just spending the day nearby. Restaurante Victoria has a really unique mix of Mexican and Chinese food, so there’s something for everyone. The menu is pretty big and can take a minute to look through, but once you find what you want, it’s worth it. We went with the kung pao chicken, and it was really good. The portion sizes are huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth. We also grabbed a Coca-Cola, and it just felt like a classic, simple meal done right. It’s nice that they also have tacos on the menu, so even if someone in your group isn’t into Chinese food, they’ve still got options. The service was a little on the slower side, but nothing crazy, and the staff were still friendly. The place has more of an older, laid-back feel, which honestly adds to the charm. One thing to know is they only take cash, but they do accept US dollars and give change in pesos, which makes it easy if you’re just visiting for the day. Overall, great food, big portions, and a convenient location near the border. Definitely a spot I’d come back to.
