We had breakfast here today. I felt that we were immersed deep into the knowledge and love that can only be achieved through generations of cooking. I had "huevos con sarape," sunny side up eggs w/melted cheese over tortillas and green sauce (based on tomatillos, other spices, and a hint of spicy). On top, avocado slices that just took me to heaven. On the side, black beens w/crunchy tortilla. My hubby had "Chilaquiles a la Cazuela" and he enjoyed his dish as much as I did. We REALLY recommend this restaurant without a doubt! The service was great, and the hibiscus water just perfect. A family restaurant in which EVERYTHING is unforgetable!

Villa Coral is a small restaurant near Coyoacán Downtown. There are two levels in the restaurant and at lunch time it may be pretty crowded. The food is delicious. We have tried several dishes from the day menu, but when we have Chile en Nogada we fell in love with the flavors.

Got the Chile ennogasa. Which was not in season. However, it was perfect.

Local restaurant, friendly staff, high value food with great taste. If you’re looking for a solid cheap meal, this place is great. It won’t blow your mind but for $6 USD, I had a 4 course lunch special that hit the spot. What really made our experience was our waiter Guillermo. He treated us like family (not as tourists). Thank you Guillermo!

Food was lovely, tastes like homemade cooking with top quality products. We had sopa de tortilla, sopa de espinacas and pulpo a la veracruzana, all three were delicious. And its located in Coyoacan, one of the most-visited-Mexican-historical-village
