Had a great experience! The combo dish was massive, and everything tasted amazing. The katsu was perfectly fried—crispy without being oily or heavy. I honestly could’ve kept eating, but I was completely full. They also offer unlimited cabbage, rice, and soup, which is a nice bonus if you’ve got the appetite. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I mentioned a shellfish allergy, and they were quick to accommodate, which I really appreciated. Would definitely come back.

I highly recommend Saku! They have great customer service! Ryoya took my order today. He’s is kind and friendly! I’ve been to this Saku location many times and return because of the tasty katsu and wonderful staff! It also has delicious food - the tempura is always crispy and hot! The sides are yummy too and they even offer you free refills for some items! I had the veggie katsu with curry today but I have gotten the hotate ebi one before, the pork katsu with cheese and regular pork katsu. They were all very good!

Overall, amazing food, and will definitely be back again! Atmosphere: Such a beautiful and nicely decorated interior. Has a very quiet and tidy vibe. Service: Great service. Servers were very kind and accommodating to everyone, and gave us great recommendations. Food: The star of the show! We ordered the Tokujyo Rosu Katsu, Cheese Katsu, and Curry Udon. The pork cutlet was very tender abd flavorful, and I appreciated that there was a side of miso soup and salad. The cheese katsu was also amazing, and the cheese itself was melty and creamy. The curry udon was good too, but I would want to try something different next time.

Had a late lunch/early dinner around 4:30pm on a Sat afternoon, no wait and only a few tables of diners present. The service was really friendly without being overbearing, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant. Ordered the rosu katsu, which is deliciously light and crisp. The set is so cute, and personally for me was the right amount of food, especially with the free refills of soup, rice, and cabbage slaw. The katsu was tender and filling without being heavy or oily, and for the most part stayed crisp throughout the meal. Grating the sesame seeds has a great aroma, but I think the katsu sauce is pretty generic. Cabbage slaw with the sesame dressing is delicious. Soup is just ok, but nice to have a warm broth. Overall a solid meal set, and I'll return again to try other options.

20251022 I happened to pass by and was drawn in by the restaurant's vibe. Even though the staff were about to take their break, they were kind enough to serve us, which we really appreciated. We ordered the Rosu Katsu Set, Hire Katsu Set, and Cheese Katsu. A great bonus is that the salad, rice, and soup are all refillable for free! The salad portion is quite generous, and their signature dressing is very refreshing—perfect for cutting through the richness of the fried food. The experience of grinding your own sesame seeds to add to the sauce provides a lovely sense of "ritual," and the aroma of the crushed sesame is wonderful. The pork cutlet itself was not dry at all, and the outer crust was incredibly crispy. I recommend squeezing some lemon juice over the pork, then dipping it in the sesame sauce with a tiny bit of salt—it creates such a multi-layered flavor profile! However, the Cheese Katsu didn't have the "cheese pull" effect I was expecting. I’m not sure if I ordered the wrong type or if it had just cooled down by the time I ate it. Overall, it was a great experience! Special shout-out: My friend accidentally sent a lemon wedge "flying" behind the sofa while squeezing it! The server was very sharp-eyed and handled it for us immediately. Thank you so much!

Great Family Dinner at Saku! (Amazing Service & Unlimited Sides) We decided to try out Saku on Broadway for a family dinner on a Saturday evening. Aside from the parking situation—which was honestly a bit horrible due to the local construction, forcing us to park three blocks away—the entire dining experience was fantastic! Despite coming on a busy Saturday night, there was no wait and we got a table right away. Ordering is done online. The Food: I highly recommend getting the sets, as they come with unlimited rice, miso soup, and shredded cabbage salad. If I could give a 4.5-star rating, I would, with the half-star deduction being for the food. While everything was good, it felt like it was just missing a little something to give it that final "wow" factor—though I can't quite pinpoint what was incomplete. Cheese Katsu: Really interesting and delicious, though it is incredibly rich and filling, so it's easy to get stuffed quickly. Chicken Katsu Curry: Perfectly executed and full of flavor. Hotate (Scallop/Potato Croquette): A deep-fried ball that was absolutely great—crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. Kids Meal: It were great! The kids really enjoyed their meal, though the prawn tempura in the soup wasn't their absolute favorite. The Service: What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The servers continuously checked on our table for refills and kept our water topped up without us even having to ask. Excellent food, top-tier service, and very family-friendly. We will definitely come back! Parking: Added a heads-up about the construction so other drivers know what to expect. The "Set" Value: Highlighted the unlimited refills since that's a huge selling point for hungry families.

My family came to eat after we’d just landed, so just an hour before closing time. That said, the food was lovely; the curry was flavourful and balanced and the meat options were tender and juicy, and the sides were great too (particularly the miso soup), though I think the salad would benefit from a wider variety of sauces. The atmosphere was nice and organised despite it being fairly busy. What impressed us most was actually the phenomenal service - despite our late arrival, our server Yoshi was friendly and incredibly attentive. My daughter even left her bag at the table, and he sprinted a good distance to return it to us! Overall a fantastic experience, would absolutely recommend.

Tokujyo Rosu Katsu, Cheese Katsu were great. Compared to regular Rosu Katsu, the pork cutlet was marginally more tender and flavorful, so it was worth the premium. Also love their house-made salad dressing.
