This might be the best pub in Whitby if not all of Ontario. Wing nights on Tuesday and Thursday are amazing and the chicken Parmesan is to die for! Highly recommend checking this place out as the service is as good if not even better than its delicious food, god I love this place!
I don't eat out often, so I've only been here a few times but it always leaves me wanting more! In my past I had been a waitress at a casual fine dining restaurant which even received one star in the Michelin book, so my standards are pretty high, five stars across the board was easily given to this restaurant/ pub! The service is always quick and friendly, I loved the daily special fish and chips. It was a very good portion, all the portions are great. The quality of the food is delicious. Delicious! Served hot and in a timely fashion. And everything is priced very affordable (for these days) and fairly. On my last visit (My friend took me out for my birthday, I don't really drink but since it was a special occasion I asked if they have a Cosmopolitan which is not on the menu but they made one and it went down like Kool-Aid. It was so delicious I had two!) I got the roast beef dip which I could only eat half of. So I was so happy to have leftovers the next night. And then I thought about that sandwich for the next week. I will be back soon for another one. It's been about 2 weeks and I'm still thinking about it. LOL. My friend got the chicken club. She's quite a chicken club. Connoisseur and she really loved that too! We both love the fries. They have that crispy coating that you just can't get enough of now that I'm talking about it I'm getting hungry. I have to go eat. Have a great day!! Ps. I love the option of sitting on the patio which is covered and or has umbrellas. It's nice to people watch.
Want to share our experiences at Pearson Pub. Consistently very good quality food. Good service. And what gives this pub that extra special niche is their ‘specials’ on special days such as Mother’s Day… special ‘low price’ menu as well as their regular menu, with homemade dishes. Another special touch they gave a thank you to their customers with a $10.00 coupon to all mom’s to use for your next visit. Along with a rose and a card; a nice note to mom’s and a thank you to their customers for their patronage. Nice touch! Our family appreciates this pub in the community. We wish them much continued success.
If you are ever in Whitby the Pearson Pub is the place to go!! Great portions and price ( something hard to find these days). We had the swiss mushroom burger and tossed chicken fingers and they were delicious… and the dill sauce was a pleasant treat.
The Pearson is one of the best restaurants around period. The food is amazing as well as the prices are unbeatable considering the portion sizes. Daily specials are amazing value. Service is always friendly. Never had an issues with this place. Wings are some of the best in Durham.
Loved the patio. Their rib and wing combo was delicious. The servers were attentive and had personality. I'll be back soon.
The service here was great, the waitress we had was friendly and attentive. The food was really good, and I would definitely drive out to Whitby again just for their fries and salad. The furniture seems a bit worn down, but the place was clean and tidy.
