My Aunt and I had drinks and desserts and overall we thought the food was delicious and the large coffees were indeed large! While the apple cherry crisp tasted good, the portion was a bit small for my liking. On the other hand, the moist chocolate cake was so big my Aunt had to share it with me! The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing with jazz music and a low hum of people talking and enjoying the eclectic building.

My last stop for the evening needed to be a cafe for a warm drink and a sweet treat. I ordered the Ganache Hot Chocolate ($6.5) and a Lavender Fog Cake ($9). My cake was really good! It wasn’t too sweet, was soft, was fluff and I could taste the earl grey and lavender without it being too overpowering. However, I’m not sure I can justify it to be a $9 cake. As for my hot chocolate, while decent and I appreciate the steamed milk…. it tastes like the powdered hot chocolate I make at home. I wouldn’t recommend this simply because you can get the same taste at home for ¢50. This establishment is very cute and warming. Despite it being 30 minutes to close on a Sunday, it is still full of people and a line up waiting to order. I’m starting to learn the value of late night cafes. So many people are here to chat with friends, first dates, or even working on their laptops. It’s very much a place where you sit and to relaxing sip your drink or eat a sweet treat. I recommend this place, all of their treats are house made and you can taste it. I whole heartedly have a new found appreciation for a late night cafe.

A huge variety of sweet and savory options; they make sure to state ingredients, in case of allergies! I ordered a blueberry scone with an iced Americano: the cashier was very accommodating and kind when she told me they told me they didn't have the milk option I preferred, and made sure to check with me on the level of milk they added afterwards the atmosphere is beautiful, rustic and homey. Can't wait to see what this place is like in the winter!

Good, but pricey. With 15% tip one drink with a sandwich was $29.27. in addition the service doesn't do a good job of listening to orders. I asked for a ganache hot chocolate and they made a mocha instead. I do not like coffee. Because it was busy I just walked out after finishing my sandwich, did not try to correct the issue.

Such a cute little gem! It reminds me of a rustic coffee shop - love the brick interior and the old time look. Super cozy to sit and do some work. The front is entirely open in the summer, which is also really nice. They have a book shelf area where you can take a book and leave a book - which is such a cool idea! The drinks are really good, too. Haven't had a chance to try much, but would love to come back and give it a try. I recommend coming to check this place out if you are looking for a change up from your regular coffee shop.
