This is my favourite persian restaurant. Amazing food especially the Gheymenesar. Absolutely stunning, lots of fresh meet and very balanced flavours with the rice. Staff are fantastic and friendly and the atmosphere is great.

Chelo offers decent food quality, and the portions are generous. The prices used to be more reasonable, but over the past year they’ve increased twice. Even so, considering the quality and portion size, it is still worth the money, although we go there less often now for dine in. I’d recommend the kebabs, stews, and lamb neck.

New to Persian food, all 3 of my experiences to date have been here at Chelo and I have not been disappointed. The food has been very fresh and flavorful, with very generous portions. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and service has been excellent. I'm most likely going to make it a weekly occurrence stopping in to eat.

I had a fantastic dining experience at Chelo! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for family dinners or casual hangouts. The menu is packed with authentic Persian favourites prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients. The koobideh and jujeh kebabs were juicy and rich with flavour, and the saffron rice was perfectly fragrant. Portions were generous and great value, and the service was friendly, attentive, and quick throughout our meal. Whether you’re craving kebabs, stews, or something new, Chelo delivers consistent quality every time. Highly recommended if you’re in North Vancouver and love hearty, flavourful food!
