Stopped by for dessert since it's conveniently located near the restaurant we ate at. The ice cream was rich and creamy, not too sweet. My personal favorite was the salted caramel. I also tried the Biscoff and it's good too. Friendly service, place is clean and cozy. Lots of space to dine inside or al fresco. Nice spot to grab dessert after a meal. Definitely coming back. Will try other food items next time.
After living 12 years in Winnipeg, I can safely say Dug and Betty's have the best ice cream in town! Their ice cream selection is innovative, affordable and absolutely hits the spot! My all time favorites are the Ferrero Rocher and Creme Brulee! You will not go wrong here!
Dug & Betty’s ice cream creamey is located on 309 Des Meurons st in the St Boniface area of Winnipeg. This is an absolutely awesome place to stop by and get some high-quality ice cream. They serve hard and soft ice cream and have a wide variety of ice cream flavors ranging from vanilla, maple pecan, rocky Road etc. they also have a café, which serves espresso, Americano, cappuccino, latte, London fog, and hot chocolate. They also have a menu of sandwiches, soups, and salad, as well as main dishes, including quiche lorraine, chicken quesadillas, buy some chili, burrito, bowls, hotdog, pizza, and burgers. Outdoor and indoor seating is available. There is some customer parking. Great place overall. I highly recommend.
Vero is the face that greets you, and she’s an absolutely amazing host and server warm, welcoming, and genuinely makes the experience better from the moment you walk in. This mom-and-pop gem delivers next-level ice-cream-infused alcohol treats, easily some of the best around. And if you’re skipping the alcohol? Their ice cream is still unreal. Don’t sleep on the vegan coconut carrot ginger soup — Honestly feels like a hit of health in a bowl, and it’s so good. 10/10 — highly recommend.
Best ice cream, and adorable treats for doggos! We only ordered through walk up window, unsure of sit down experience. Will be going back in summer for sure.
Went to try their weekend breakfest (sat & sun) and was quite delicious. We had the Blueberry Earl Grey waffles and the Ferrero Rocher waffles and both were great. Definately recommend for a nice breakfest spot in St. B.
I can't say enough positive things about Dug & Betty's! It was my first time going and I was not disappointed. I love trying local places and to support as much as I can, and this is a place to 100% support! Service was lovely! They know the menu well and willing to give advice if asked. The food had a very delicious taste and huge servings! It's not a big menu but they have a little something for everyone, including gluten free and vegan. I loved how you can order a flight of ice cream, 4 scoops of different flavours! Their menu choice of flavours is insane! Original and unique! You wouldn't think their goat cheese caramelized ice cream would taste good, but it does! Lol Even when something went wrong, it was dealt with professionally and fixed right away. Plan on bringing the family here and friends. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
