We eat at Happy Lamb Hot Pot often and always enjoy it. The food is fresh, the broth is flavorful, and the portions are generous. The restaurant is clean, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. It’s popular not only with Chinese customers, but also with many non-Chinese diners. A great place for hot pot with family or friends.
Good Experience. Food is really good, you'll have lots of choices in flavours and varieties. Soup is really good. food is fresh and clean. cook on your own preference of flavouring and proteins. the only thing is their drinks, all the juice options taste like water. It's like water with food colouring. Other than that, service is good. They will assist and refill your pot as needed, and they are attentive if you needed them. Will keep recommending to families and friends that are visiting Saskatoon.
This place has officially become my comfort restaurant, emotional support hotpot, and weekly “I deserve this” reward. Every single time I come here, the food is SO good that I start planning my next visit before I even leave. The broth? Amazing. The ingredients? Fresh. The sauces? Dangerous because I always end up making a bowl so good I think about it for days. The service is always great, the atmosphere is cozy, and the whole experience feels worth every dollar. Whether I’m stressed, hungry, celebrating, or just being dramatic for no reason, this is my go-to spot. If you see me here multiple times a month, mind your business 10/10 would happily burn my tongue on the soup again.
Popped in for lunch today and had a great time. The food quality is solid—everything felt fresh and the broth was flavorful. It’s definitely fair for the price, too. The best part was the service. The staff were super friendly and actually took the time to walk us through the hotpot techniques, which was a nice touch. Definitely a chill spot to grab a meal at Preston Crossing. I'll be back for sure!
It was our first time having hotpot and we had a wonderful and welcoming experience. The broths were delectable and the various add-in options were expansive. We are very excited to return
This is our all time favorite spot to eat. There are so many choices of broth for the buffet and sooo many buffet items to choose to cook your own food. There are also a few hot items out to help curb your appetite if you need to do that first. We have never ordered off the menu so I can't speak to that. When I can have unlimited meat and veggies and seafoods and noodles why would I look further. The kids also enjoy picking their own foods and cooking them in the broth. My first trip I hated it thinking why would I want to cook my own food, I could do that at home. After I gave it a few tries though its the only place I want to go.
