First time trying the potato noodles here and I really liked the texture — super chewy and satisfying. I got the Crispy Pork Clay Pot Potato Noodles and the broth was rich and comforting, especially on a colder day. The braised pork belly and XL meatball were also surprisingly good. Lots of menu options and portions were decent for the price. Would definitely come back to try some of the other noodle flavours.
The food was very tasty. I had medium hot which was just right (I can eat fire). Food came out quickly but they were in a rush to close at 9:00 and we arrived at 8:10 so that wasn’t the most pleasant. Basically this is a place for food and only food. Don’t expect more than fast service and a plate put in front of you. I don’t think they try to position themselves as anything other than that. Go, eat, leave.
I'm normally not a huge fan of Northern Chinese cuisine, but this place was great. I ordered the tomato soup with beef brisket, and the portion size was really good. The restaurant also has a cash discount as well, making it a really good value bowl of noodles for under $20. Don't love the offer to get free stuff if you leave a good Google review, but our experience was an authentic five star experience. Staff here were nice as well. One of the waitresses was nice enough to give me extra napkins because she could see I was sweating a lot . Atmosphere is decent as well, not too cramped. Would definitely come back for lunch when I get a craving!
We got the XL Signature Grilled Chicken topped with a fried egg add-on and a Beef Brisket soup dish. I have no regrets with both orders. They both have a variety of toppings and different food in them to try. The extra fried egg order added to the Signature Grilled Chicken also pairs very well. Service is excellent and food waiting times are very quick. It took not much time at all after ordering before our food was served.
WOW… just WOW. Thank you to the staff who made our first experience so delicious! We will be back again and again. We had the beef brisket(extra spicy ) !!! Good portion full of quality ingredients !
