Went for dinner on a Saturday night. The place busy but not too busy. At first glance the restaurant was clean, organized and welcoming. Our service, Paul, was great. He gave us some nice recommendations for sake and wines. The food came out quickly and it was delicious!! We did the tasting menu that came with 5 courses. The courses were all different and everything tasted great. There were 2 things that weren’t the best for me, one being the wagyu beef: it was very chewy, second was the amount of sashimi. While it was also amazing, there was too much. It would have been nice to make some maki or rolls. Overall, it was a great place to I will definitely be going back to try other items on the menu.

It truly exceeded my expectations. First of all, the atmosphere of the place is very simple yet elegant, with a sense of quality that isn’t overwhelming. The service was highly professional from start to finish, and the staff were helpful and attentive when it came to the menu. For dessert, I tried the yuzu sorbet with sake jelly and the matcha ice cream. The yuzu sorbet was incredibly refreshing its light, slightly tangy and aromatic flavour was very well balanced, and when combined with the sake jelly, it created a unique yet very successful pairing. The matcha ice cream was exactly how it should be neither too bitter nor artificially sweet, clearly made with high-quality matcha and very well balanced. The presentations were also very carefully done, making the dishes visually enjoyable as well. Prices aren’t cheap, but considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience, I think it’s worth it. The portion sizes for the desserts were ideal, providing a satisfying finish without feeling heavy. Overall, it was an excellent experience in terms of flavour, service, and atmosphere. It’s definitely a place to choose for a special evening. I’m planning to go again, and I especially recommend trying their desserts. It absolutely deserves a full 5 stars.

Got the dinner omakase tasting (6 courses) - comes with a lobster miso soup, 12 pc sashimi platter, 3 pc aburi, 7 pc nigiri, 1 temaki and a dessert. My piece of the uni nigiri was super fishy (I do like uni) so I was really questioning its freshness. We also added the 6 pc pressed scallops sushi to share and it was probably one of my favourites from the night Overall, I think their rice ratio is a bit high compared to other places (for every piece I had)

A modern sushi spot with very high-quality fish - the sashimi platter was especially solid and great for sharing. The aburi selections were rich and flavorful, and the black cod was also a highlight. The aburi pieces did lean a bit heavy on rice with thinner cuts of fish, so they didn’t feel like the best value (though still very tasty). Overall, a satisfying meal with high-quality seafood.

Been here multiple times for birthday occasions with different family members and always had a good time. Their $125 set menu is quite reasonable given the chefs give you a variety of food from lobster miso soup to premium sashimi platter. 10/10 for the cocktails, service and dessert. Thank you for making my sister feel special on her birthday! Only negative feedback I wanted to give was the akami from the platter, it was VERY fishy when served to my table, almost smelt like it was left out for quite some time. Most of my group did not eat their pieces.

One of our favorite sushi spots in Toronto. Stylish atmosphere, attentive service, and consistently high-quality food. The pressed sushi was outstanding, and the sashimi platter was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. Perfect spot for a date night or special dinner.

One of the best Japanese food places in Ontario. Fresh food, innovative, great ambiance, and amazing customer service. While the dinning room has it's own environment, the washrooms has it's own music. As soon as you step in, it is peace. We got the tasting menu the first time, and the lunch set the second time tasting menu doesn't seem like a lot, but it gets you stuffed. The portion of the lunch set was almost perfect.
