We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, full of rich flavors and truly authentic Indian cuisine. The service was outstanding — special thanks to Sunny, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, making us feel truly welcome throughout our visit. First time at this restaurant and I’ve lived around the hood for years and never knew about it. Soooo amazing! The food was great, the service is excellent, will definitely be back! Both the servers were so kind as well, Raman and mouni.
Brought my dad here for his 76th Birthday. He along with everyone else enjoyed each of the dishes. I personally got the butter chicken with a side of rice. One of the best butter chickens I have had in the last year. The sauce is super yummy. They have a very big menu for different dishes, which is impressive. Our server was Mouni, who was great. Highly recommend.
The Lunch Combo is pretty good value-for-money, and vegetarian options include lentil dhal and paneer. The naan was very crispy and dhal was creamy! I’m probably not making my lentil dhal right; or maybe I need to learn to cook with ghee? The lady was very respectful! Also found it interesting that they kept the wall decor from previous Vietnamese restaurant owners.
It’s the small details and joyous atmosphere that set this Indian restaurant apart from others. From hearing chef and cooking staff humming and singing from the kitchen while making your food, the server being attentive and getting to know you as a guest, to the rose petals sprinkled on your mango lassi- this place reminds me of Indian hospitality at its best. In fact, it is reminiscent of being at home and hearing bollywood songs over the radio mixed in with the clatter of your family cooking. We ordered honey potato which is a gooey-sweet snack I could not stop eating. Our mains were the palak kofta which is a Krsma specialty with padina parantha. The mint, kofta and spinach gravy combination was a “close-your-eyes” moment to savour. We also ordered kadai paneer with butter garlic naan. A golden smooth and rich dish was delivered with naan full of flavour. Portion sizes were well worth the price of each dish. Absolute perfect visit. Would highly recommend if you live in the area to make it a regular stop, and if you don’t to make the trip to check it our.
The Chicken Makhani is very tasty, the Lamb Biryani is flavorful and enjoyable, and the Dal Makhani is simply outstanding. Highly recommended!
