La G del Gato is the correct name and the story has more to do with pronouncing the owners Italian name than cats. Fun, Fast , Great Pizza. Wood fired Pizza with really friendly staff. Some of the best service anywhere in Mazatlan. And the price is reasonable as well. If you have a small pet no problem and they even have water bowls for your dog.

Went here to try their pizza after a friend recommended it. Great atmosphere, lots of comfortable outdoor seating surrounded by memorabilia and other cool stuff. Decent menu, pizza was quite good as was the salad. Lots of drink choices including margaritas, cervecas and lots of tropical drinks.

Pleasantly surprised! I have driven by here many times. Today we stopped in for a pizza. I have yet to find a decent pizza in Mazatlan but this might be right up there as best so far! Had the meatlovers and surprised that it actually came topped with real sausage. I was expecting wieners like everywhere else. Also had the Margarita pizza, very nice! Good selection of burgers, wings and beverages also. Well done guys! Will definitely be back!

Open air seating, service was great, shrimp ceviche was good. Pasta with garlic and butter, needed more of both but tasty.
