I recently visited the Robson location of Liuyishou Hotpot, and it was such a satisfying experience! If you’re in the Downtown area and looking for a great meal, their all-you-can-eat (AYCE) deal is incredibly decent and offers some of the best value for the price. The food quality is very decent. The meats (especially the marbled beef and lamb) were sliced thin and fresh, and they have a huge variety of side dishes, vegetables, and fish balls to choose from. I also love their self-serve sauce bar—it's well-stocked and lets you customize your dipping sauce exactly how you like it. The atmosphere is lively, making it a perfect spot for a group hang-out or a big family dinner. In an area where dining out can get expensive quickly, finding an AYCE hotpot this good is a total win. Highly recommend if you want to leave feeling completely full and happy!

Experience the AYCE at Liuyishou hotpot + bbq combo on Robson. This isn't just volume—it's quality. They're customizing their feast with premium sliced meats, fresh seafood, veggies, and, of course, Liuyishou's famously rich broth. Liuyishou’s hotpot + bbq combo just perfect for fall weather. The ultimate way to warm up and spend time with friends in Downtown Vancouver.

Have visited this restaurant multiple times. It remains one of the best hot pot places in Vancouver, the food quality is consistent over the years and the staff are always friendly (if they are not super busy ). Many thanks to Ivy and her team for their wonderful recommendations! The new BBQ pot was a new experience for a hot pot lover like me, highly recommended. I recommend ordering the meat separately rather than with the ring so you can keep the beef/lamb fresh, before you throw it into your pot (kick it in the ring if you want to take a photo ). They have a wide selection of side dishes, feel free to grab some and...eat! Make your own dipping sauce, or ask for help, there is no wrong way to make your own. A great place to have dinner together, reservations are recommended and required for large groups.

Salar’s Honest Reviews

Review: Liuyishou Hotpot Liuyishou Hotpot is a great option if you want to enjoy both hot pot and BBQ together in one place. The all-you-can-eat format offers a wide variety of choices, including different soup bases, fresh meats, seafood, vegetables, and BBQ items, so there is something for everyone. The quality and variety make it a very satisfying experience, especially for groups who want to try many flavors in one visit. On weekends, it is highly recommended to book a table in advance. The restaurant gets extremely busy, and without a reservation you may face a long wait. It is also a family-friendly spot, as they offer a kids’ menu, which makes it a good choice if you are dining with children. One thing to keep in mind is that when the restaurant is fully packed, the staff can be stretched thin. While they are hardworking, service may not be as fast or attentive during peak hours due to the high volume of customers. Overall, Liuyishou Hotpot is a solid choice for hot pot and BBQ lovers, especially if you plan ahead and visit with the right expectations during busy times.

Came to Liuyishou on Robson St. after friend's recommended this establishment for their hot pot. From the get-go, we were made welcome by our super friendly hostess/server. She asked whether this was our first time there and when she found out it was, she then proceeded to explain the menu, options, what is included in the all-you-can-eat, and all we needed to have the best of times. The choices are varied in terms of protein, vegetables, seafood, etc. Same goes for the soup bases and dipping sauces, these go from mild to spicy. There is really enough in the menu to satisfy any preferences. Obviously, the more people in the group, the better. The place has tables good for 4, 6, 8 guests. If you require one of the larger tables, it's probably better to reserve in advance. Their system is very user-friendly, and the staff there, super helpful in case you have any questions. For around $40, this is quite the deal. We all left very happy with the portions and quality of every item we ordered. Give them a try!
