I had an unforgettable dining experience at Lobster on the Wharf! The lobster roll was absolutely delicious, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the homemade desserts carrot cake and potato chocolate cake were simply divine. Our server, Joe, was incredibly warm and attentive, making the experience even more special. A huge thank you to Chef Paul for the incredible meal, it was truly a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be back whenever we return to PEI.

Food was amazing and so was the staff! We had a great server. The butternut squash mac and cheese was so good and so was the mussels and scallops. Also the desserts were to die for, must try the potato chocolate cake.

Our server Joe was a joy to converse with and the owner Lisa was phenomenal and a great host! The food was incomparable!!!! Deliciousness served with love and great care- you can tell they put a lot into their restaurant and into their craft! Highly recommend visiting if you get the chance- you won’t find better food or service :)

A 1‑lb lobster sounded innocent… until it started firing shell fragments like confetti from our wildly unskilled cracking attempts. Fortunately no-one was injured. The lobster at Lobster on the Wharf was sweet, beautifully cooked, and absolutely worth the embarrassment of our inexperience with lobstermild. The Lobster on the Wharf offered great food, great laughs (at ourselves) and a humbling reminder that we are not professional lobster handlers. The staff were attentive, friendly (and wisely kept a safe distance during the shell cracking).

Lobster on the wharf is a seafood restaurant located right on the Charlottetown Harbour. Beautiful views of the Hillsborough River, the yacht club and the boardwalk. They have their own lobster pound so the seafood is as fresh as it gets. They give you very large portions at a very reasonable price. There is even some choices for land lubbers. Now to the desserts. Just look at how huge the pieces are. I almost couldn't finish my piece. I said almost. Their chocolate potato cake and carrot cake are made fresh everyday on site. We will be back.

Fantastic seafood and a great location right on the water. An even better location if you are visiting by cruise ship like we were today. Very short walk from the ship to the restaurant. Menu had lots of options without being overwhelming. Prices were very reasonable for the fresh seafood they offered and the staff was very helpful and attentive even with the influx of cruise passengers in port on the day. Lots of seating outside with umbrellas for shade and the inside seating was roomy and comfortable. The air conditioning inside felt great on the warm day we were experiencing. I had the a 1lb appetizer of mussels and the haddock tacos with fries and slaw. Everything was delicious. They sell lobsters by the pound and even noted on the menu that an 8 pound lobster may be available. The facilities were clean and well kept including the restrooms. They have a small selection of souvenirs in the entrance that you can browse while waiting to be seated. It looked like there was lots of space to park near the restaurant if you have a car and didn't walk to the location. Overall a great experience, great food and we would definitely eat there again if we are ever back in Charlottetown PEI. Would highly recommend!

We were served by Joe and he was absolutely amazing and friendly! He was quick, and gave us everything we needed. The food was also cooked to perfection. Lobster was cooked perfectly so none of it was chewy it was easy to eat and tasted amazing. In Nova Scotia both lobsters I had there were overcooked and the tails were so hard to chew through. It was nice to finally have one that was cooked properly! My husband had the halibut which was also cooked to perfection. The other customers were also very friendly so our dinner was accompanied by great conversation! I’d eat here again in a heartbeat!
