If you’re wondering how good the food is, just look at the empty plates—that says it all! Everything was so delicious that we finished every bite. This is easily one of the best places for dosa in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge area. The dosas were fresh, crispy, full of authentic flavor, and served with delicious chutneys and sambar. The quality of the food was excellent, and the portions were satisfying. Reviews from other diners also frequently praise the authentic taste and good value. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity you get, making it a great value. On top of that, the customer service was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole dining experience even better. If you’re a dosa lover or simply looking for authentic South Indian food, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended.

This place deserves a 5 star! What a lovely gem of a restaurant. We went for Saturday lunch buffet which is $24.99 and around 56$ after taxes. It has to be one of the best buffets I have been with more than 25 food options at this affordable cost. There were so many options and my favourite has to be tandoori chicken! The marination, the flavour, it was one of the most delicious tandoori I had and chicken was juicy and charred. The mutton curry was spot on and madras chicken curry too with full of coconut flavour which I loved. The biryani was not my type for sure, I had this type for first time and it was full of cinnamon flavour and my advice for them would be just this that please keep normal biryani. The veggie section was different and the had uthhapa, dosa, idli, vada, pasta. All vegetarian curries and naan. The sweet options were bit limited and could have been better though. Vermicelli payyassam was so good. A must visit for buffet and place is spacious.

Every dish we had was bursting with flavour and the presentation was just as impressive. The staff was warm & welcoming and made sure we had everything that we needed. This is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had! From the elegant decor to the soft background music, this restaurant creates the perfect setting for a relaxed evening. Whether you’re out for a romantic date or a casual dinner with friends, the ambiance here is great. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for South and North Indian dishes.

Madras Chettinaad offers an amazing dining experience with truly authentic South Indian flavors. I tried their unlimited buffet on Saturday, and every single item was delicious and full of traditional taste. The variety was excellent, food was fresh, and everything felt homemade and flavorful. I genuinely enjoyed each and every dish, making it a great place for anyone who loves authentic Indian cuisine.

I recently visited the buffet at Madras Chettinad and had a really good experience. There was a wide variety of food including chicken, fish, South Indian dishes, pulao, gravies, and desserts. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful—nothing was bad, which is rare for buffets. Usually buffet food is average, but this one was genuinely good. I hope they continue the same taste and quality for a long time. Definitely worth visiting.

Nice homestyle food in their buffet. The chicken chettinad curry, lamb curry and chicken 65 were excellent. The service could be better…we asked the ladies in the front for fresh dosai (there were some cold ones in the buffet)…they replied, “we will let you know when the new ones come” (un…believeable…)… fortunately, sometime later, we asked one of the male staff…he immediately went to the kitchen and got some fresh crispy dosas made and delivered at our table…for this alone, I would go back…hope the management give the message to the others…there is only one way to eat a dosai… HOT and CRISP!

We usually only get dosa from this place, and the paneer dosa is perfect, but lately, they've been making it too spicy. It used to be perfect before. So, I humbly ask them not to make the sambhar and everything else so spicy these days.
