An authentic and and very welcoming restaurant. Staff were quite helpful and did everything they could to guests felling welcome. We were even treated to a full presentation at the table of all the desserts/cakes available on the menu. Location in front of the beautiful square adds even more to an enjoyable lunch. Strongly recommend this neighbourhood with the cobblestone streets and the cosy restaurants and interesting museums.

We had breakfast upstairs in this cute restaurant. They offer you pastries as an appetizer to your meal (it is a common practice in many Mexico City restaurants) My fruit plate was fresh, beautiful, and delicious. Coffee was strong and delicious. They don’t rush you at all and the room was lovely.

On a lovely walk up Avenue Francisco Sosa, my wife and I stopped at Meson Santa Catarina for lunch, entranced by the enchanting square across from the restaurant. We enjoyed a tranquil, shaded meal outside, dining on delectable dishes. Although there were no vegan main meals on the menu, I was able to cobble together a tasty lunch by ordering side dishes like cooked vegetables, rice, refried black beans, and guacamole and chips. While I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch, my wife’s grilled chicken was an unadorned piece l of mildly seasoned meat, looking out of place amidst the colorful collection of the side dishes I’d ordered. Also, the waiter, appearing slightly distracted the whole time, failed to have the grated cheese removed from my bean dish. Overall it was a pleasant repast.

This is a lovely restaurant with very good food. It’s set in an old house with a charming terrace overlooking the square in front of the Chapel of Santa Catarina de Siena. The portions are generous, and although the menu isn’t very extensive, you can enjoy authentic Mexican flavors in comfort. The service is very friendly.

Delicious food, very nice service. Ask for the Salsa Picante verde y rojo to compliment the food. The special breakfast Don Quixote was very good, also the enchiladas suizas verde.

Within the cobblestoned roads of the old neighborhood of Coyoacán, and in front of a quaint plaza, this restaurant offers traditional Mexican food. They also offer a selection of artisanal mezcal. The food and service are excellent. The decor is based on the motifs of little towns of Mexico. The terrace at the top offers a peaceful view into the neighborhood.

If you're looking for a typical Mexican food restaurant, you've come to the right place! Food is tasty well served. We tried "cafe de olla" and it was excellent. Hot sauces are amicable for your mouth of you're not a hot chili consumer! Overall the service was really good, but it can get a bit slow at some point, but your patience will be well rewarded!
