My wife and I like the location the food was excellent even though it didn't come exactly as we ordered, a day pass is 1000 pesos PER PERSON or approximately $112 usd expect the wait staff get you to use it all up. Service was slow, although there was hardly anyone there, this is not a negative review just my honest observation.
I stayed 6 nights here. It was better than the pictures I have seen. The grounds and staff are beautiful. The food was not what I had hoped for but still could find some decent foods. The best thing I ate was the guacamole for sure. The drinks were a little soft on the strength. I think this might be a thing in this region as I have heard lots of other reviews that say this. Our room was an absolute delight. The bed was super comfortable, the sheets were soft, the turn down service was perfect. Also, very clean. The staff was over the top kind and helpful. We even had a medical situation and they were on it, all hands on deck. Very reassuring.
We purchased a daypass to this resort and had such a wonderful day. The service was wonderful and all the staff were so sweet and kind. The food was incredible. A quieter resort with minimal people, but such beautiful views and comfortable chairs. Would visit again!
This place is amazing, We come to the Riviera Maya once a year, We have been in different resorts, some big chains, where you are just one more, between hundreds of other guests. This year we decided to try something different, and we are so glad we found MVNGATA, It has been a great experience, the service has been fantastic, we love the view from our room, the jacuzzi in our balcony, and the infinity pool on the top, next to the restaurant. The food is delicious, it is not the normal buffet food that you get at the big and crowded resorts, we even had live music at the restaurant on the weekend. Definitely it was a good decision to come here and we will definitely come back when the beach is clear of seaweed.
I am happy to share my impressions of the Mangata Beach Club hotel in Playa del Carmen. From the moment of arrival, I felt like I was in paradise: the staff was friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The room was clean and cozy. The hotel had everything necessary for a comfortable stay: a pool with a bar, restaurants with a variety of dishes, and a beach with loungers and relaxation areas. The breakfasts were substantial, and you could choose something from the menu. For me, this was a bit of a problem because I didn't enjoy having only one dish. The most enjoyable aspect was that the hotel was located right on the beach, allowing for enjoyment of the beach and sunsets every day, although admittedly it was not very suitable for swimming. However, by walking a bit further, you could find nice swimming spots. Overall, I had a good experience at the Mangata Beach Club, and it will remain special to me because I came to Mexico to celebrate my wedding, so this hotel now associates with it. I hope to return for our anniversary. My stay at the hotel was in early 2023, so I'm writing about what was at that time.
I had an unforgettable stay at Maganta Playa del Carmen. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a stunning rooftop pool overlooking the ocean and Cozumel — truly magical, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is romantic, relaxing, and perfect for a dreamy vacation. The service is beyond exceptional. I’ve never experienced anything like it — the staff genuinely do everything to make your stay perfect. A very special thank you to Ann and Rodrigo, who were outstanding and made our experience even more amazing with their kindness, attention, and professionalism. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, stylish, and perfectly serviced getaway.
