The food was good you let us try some good food. Really good cake and you didn’t hate us and you showed respect > from the children. From mom’s perspective my tiny> loved the chicken sharwarma wrap you remember me and I just love the food here it’s my go to and I’m never doubted when I eat here I love the garlic potatoes too and super filling and home welcoming environment. Forever coming here. Oh and she never eats onions and she did I’m proud she loved it
A hidden gem for shawarma and I know of it since early days and now it has been transformed offering delicious shawarma in an excellent mediterranean flair.. clean and warm!!
Tried the Crispy Chicken Shawarma and it was amazing! Crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The portion was great and the service was friendly and fast. One of the better shawarma spots I’ve tried in Edmonton. Definitely coming back!
Amazing food! Fadi was awesome! Got the mixed shawarma and chicken shawarma, also brought home one of their desserts and hummus. Shawarmas were perfect. Everything was great! The dessert was some type of chocolate cake, very rich, absolutely addicting. And their hummus was one of the best I've had so far. Look forward to trying more from this place! Also loved the ambiance of the place, colorful murals everywhere.
5 Stars all around. I’ve never met better staff. Fadi & Noel are the kindest people, generous and accepting! Each time I enter the store I am greeted with smiles and bright hello’s! I haven’t tried a lot of food here, since I am usually only eating vegan/vegetarian. But I can say without a doubt - these guys have the best falafel wraps in Alberta! The falafel is perfectly cooked, wonderful balance of sauce, veggies and seasoning. I wish I could eat the falafel here every day! Thank you Fadi for always making me feel welcomed Lots of love to you and your family! PS - If anyone is reading this is queer, they are super kind & accepting of all kinds of people. I recommend going here for a safe & happy experience
When you're in downtown Yeg, make sure you hit up La Shish for some great Lebanese eats! Open from lunch to late nights, they're a hidden gem serving up delicious grilled meats for over 25 years! And rest of this post in gen Z slang for fun (and hope I dont sound too cringe lol) This queen will spill the tea. La Shish no cap when you get the munchies, hit them up for Lebanese food that's just fire. We were helped by the restaurant manager, Fadi and the sandwiches were well made and delicious. We ordered one chicken and one beef shawarma. Loaded with meat, fresh ingredients. They make all the sauces in house. Even accommodated my allergy to sesame (Tahini and hummus). 10/10 would recommend. Will be back soon.
