Great experience at SUYO! The service was attentive and welcoming, and everything we ordered was delicious. Highlights included the Hokkaido Scallop Tiradito, Octopus Anticuchero, Arroz con Pato, and Lomo Saltado. We finished with the Matcha Pavlova, which was both delicious and beautifully presented. The restaurant is small and intimate, though it can feel a bit tight and noisy at times. Overall, excellent food, great service, and a memorable dining experience.

One of the top restaraunts I tried on my trip to Vancouver for sure. The dishes were high quality, good portions, and had immense flavor. I sat at the bar and all of the drinks have a story behind them, the bar master Efe told me about each drink I had and the inspiration behind them. I highly recommend sitting at the bar to get a full experience! I had the hamachi ceviche, the lomo saltado and the strawberry dessert. All fantastic, I also enjoyed the pisco mule!

We came here for dinner and had a lovely experience overall. The service was attentive throughout the evening, and our server was knowledgeable when explaining the dishes, which made ordering much easier. We especially enjoyed the ceviche- it was fresh, well-balanced, and definitely a standout for us. The drinks were also really good and complemented the meal nicely. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable dinner spot.

Hands down some of the best food I’ve had in Vancouver. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Each dish had flavours and textures that were intentionally balanced with one another. Cocktails were thoughtfully crafted and shows creativity. Our favourites were the scallop, the hamachi (?), and octopus

An outstanding experience — we really enjoyed everything. The food and cocktails were of the highest level. I’m glad I chose your restaurant to celebrate my birthday. We will definitely come back again to try all the different types of ceviche and to have the alpaca tartare once more.

Compared to Toronto, Vancouver’s food scene is pitiful. But Suyo was pretty good. The apps were great. The main we ordered wasn’t the best. It tasted like sweet and sour fish? And it came with the weirdest sweet potato cake? Such a strange main to serve. Avoid. Would come back and try other mains though.

Chefs tasting menu was mind-blowingly good. We will be thinking about those flavours for a while; especially the rabbit main! Staff were lovely and navigated the small space with such fluidity it was like watching a performance art piece. Excellent selection of wine, cocktails. Do not skip on the chef’s homemade Amaro as a digestif!

Delicious restaurant! The ceviches we tried were delicious and had everything I was looking for - tangy, salty, creamy, fresh seafood, tasty corn. I liked that we tried 3 ceviches and they were each unique and distinct. My favourite was the shrimp and scallop ceviche since I haven’t had a flavour like that before. The octopus was super tender and had great flavour and yuca donuts also had an interesting texture, pretty dense but I liked that. The service was also really attentive and they did a good job describing and explaining the dishes and menu. Highly recommend for a nice night out with great food.
