We’ve dined here once before and the food was exceptional. We came back again, and again the food was delicious! We had the momos, chicken korma and butter chicken. It was flavourful and the naan was fresh and delicious. The place was very clean and had a nice vibe. Our server Reetu was friendly and knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be back.

I celebrated my birthday with great friends at Maharaja Restaurant in Bolton, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. I’m not very familiar with Indian cuisine, but everything we tried was absolutely delicious rich flavors, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. What really made the experience stand out was our server, Ritu. She was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu and making excellent recommendations that we all enjoyed. Her warm and attentive service made us feel welcome and truly enhanced the entire meal. Thank you for making my birthday celebration so memorable. We will definitely be back!

Came in for lunch and were the only table. Ordered the masala dosa and butter chicken with garlic naan. The food was great and came out quickly. Will be back!

I rated Urban Maharajas 5 stars in the casual dining category for its service, flavours, and creativity. This was my first visit, and it delivered across the board. The menu balances traditional Indian dishes with more creative fusion elements, without losing control of flavour. The standout was the butter chicken—executed to a high standard, with a rich, balanced sauce and depth of spice that felt refined rather than heavy. The chilli cauliflower and lemon pepper chicken leaned more toward the fusion side and were well handled, offering contrast without feeling out of place. The coconut lemon rice added a bright, aromatic lift, and the garlic naan was exactly what it should be—warm, soft, and built for dipping. Portions are individual but clearly designed for sharing, which makes exploring the menu easy. Service matched the food. Reetu was attentive, confident, and guided us through the menu with precision, helping us build a lineup that moved naturally from classic to more creative dishes. From a value standpoint, it holds up well. A dish like the butter chicken paired with naan makes for a satisfying, well-priced meal. The coconut rice, while flavorful, felt slightly high for what it is, but overall pricing remains fair for the quality delivered. The space is clean and comfortable, though it could benefit from a bit more warmth in the lighting and overall ambiance. We skipped dessert—purely because we ran out of room. My next visit to Bolton will include a stop at Urban Maharajas.
