My husband and I are in Ottawa to visit our newborn twins in the NICU & decided to grab dinner before heading to our hotel and wanted something convenient and Bowman’s was the first to come up as it’s right down the road from the hospital.. When I say it takes a lot to relax in times like this I mean it.. but this restaurant has definitely given us the perfect atmosphere to unwind and enjoy probably the best meal I’ve ever had in my life. I absolutely recommend this restaurant and highly HIGHLY recommend Dan as your server! You will not be disappointed! Food was absolutely unreal and you can taste the homemade love put into their meals and presentation

Bowman's is where quality shines. It's a laid back, relaxed pub with a small menu of pub classics. But this place is definitely a matter of quality over quantity. Everything they have they do exceedingly well. They offer specials in addition to their menu items, as well as different desserts. The staff are fantastic. They always greet you like you're an old friend and their attentive service makes you feel like you're important to them. The bathrooms are small but are always clean and well stocked. I highly recommend their Bowman burger and their dill-icious pickle chips (starter).

Wonderful little neighborhood spot with great ambiance and service. We loved the Bowman burger and pork belly sandwich, and the fries were delicious!! Looking forward to visiting again soon to try out more of the menu.

I loved it here! It’s a great place to go after work with a friend and enjoy beers I personally enjoyed their cider. I wish I got a burger but the fully loaded nachos were divine. At the end of the night, I was chatting with the chef and found out he went to culinary school in Toronto. He was super friendly ! The whole team was. You can tell they’re not just looking for a tip and appreciate their customers.

Good food, good service, and a nice atmosphere. Had the pulled pork sandwich and it was delicious. The fries that came with it were cooked perfectly and seasoned really well. The lady who works here was also really funny and pleasant . Looks like a nice place to get together with some friends and watch a hockey game. Big patio setup outside the restaurant too with a tent. The only problem is there isn't much parking available, so get there early if you want to guarantee yourself a spot!

What a wonderful experience my husband, senior mom and I had at this restaurant. The atmosphere is really inviting. The seating options were varied. I love the floor to ceiling windows. The decor is really nice. Our server, Diane, was lovely. She was patient with our many questions and so efficient. Excellent service!! The care regarding dietary needs was outstanding. I am grateful to the owner and especially the chef who authentically cared to ensure my husband had an amazing experience. My husband has a garlic allergy, and many restaurants can only offer him a garden salad with oil and vinegar. At Bowman's, the chef was committed to ensuring my husband had a substantial meal. It was so appreciated, and the food was delicious. (I had the chef special, and it was SO good). Thank you Peter, Diane and Steve (Executive Chef) I highly recommend this restaurant

Stopped in for lunch. Had the daily special, fried cheese balls with cranberry pepper sauce. Yummy. Good heat to it. Dan served in a most warm and welcoming way. Lovely casual atmosphere. Definitely plan to return!

I’ve been driving past the Bowman for many years, and I finally decided to stop in, and I’m so glad I did. It’s a very cozy, inviting place where you naturally want to settle in, chat, run into old friends, and enjoy a relaxed Friday evening. The staff is exceptionally friendly, experienced, and professional. The gentleman who served us was an absolute pleasure to deal with. We ordered an amber ale, which was just perfect, full-bodied without being overwhelming, with a rich color and smooth finish. I was lucky to choose the Bowman burger with poutine on the side. The toasted bun, juicy patty, and perfectly balanced condiments made it a truly memorable experience. The poutine was an excellent choice as well: savory gravy, crispy fries, and melted curds coming together for the perfect bite. Overall, a wonderful visit, and I’ll definitely be back.
