Shout out to Nathan, not only a bartender but a local concierge, he gave great service and conversation. The salmon rolls were yum and there was a good selection of local craft beers. The old fashion was above average, though a touch sweet - no complaints though.
Came here for my birthday with a group of 10 and it was overall a positive experience. When I first made the reservation the guy on the phone was very nice and answered all my questions. Then when we left after dinner a girl at the front asked us if we enjoyed our service on the way out. Being kind goes a long way so that was a positive. I was worried how they would handle a larger group and if doing separate bills would be a hassle, but they handled it very well. Service was smooth and they were easily able to take all of our orders and split the bills. Food was good and they have a variety to choose from. They did mix up my order and brought the wrong meal, but they corrected it quickly and there were no other mishaps. It's no big deal though, mistakes happen especially for larger groups. Drinks were good too and they were very accommodating when I asked if they could make a mojito, which wasn't on the menu, so that was nice. Everything came out quick too. The atmosphere inside is nice! It was overcast and a bit chilly when we came so no one was outside but I would love to come back on a hot summer day and sit out on the patio. Downtown parking is always annoying so we ended up parking a couple blocks away but one of my friends said there was a parkade right next to the restaurant so I'll have to keep that in mind if I come back. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and want to come back on a nicer day with a smaller group for a more intimate experience. Thank you!
Always wanted to try this place, love the location and style/vibes of this place. It became quite busy on a saturday but for good reason. We came with friends and all of us really enjoyed the food, we had the enchiladas which were really good, we also had the pepperoni pizza which we really enjoyed, the crust was perfect and flavourful. We also had the Sichuan chicken rice bowl which had great flavour and for those who like sauce it was nice and saucy. The service was great from start to finish. Only reason I gave a 4 was the music was a bit loud for a place you want to meet with friends and have good convo, otherwise enjoyed the atmosphere and loved the overall set up of the place.
I came in with a friend after a long travel day, calli our server was absolutely amazing and so sweet! Definitely recommend the salmon rolls if you are going to go and the pineapple marg!!!
This was my first time visiting, and I’m so glad my friend recommended this place! It was really busy when we arrived, but they still managed to find us a table with barely any wait, which was such a great first impression. Every server we interacted with was incredibly friendly, but I especially want to give a shoutout to Abi, who took care of us that afternoon. She was so warm, attentive, and genuinely seemed to love what she was doing. She had a great sense of timing, our drinks were always refilled, and she checked in on us just enough to make sure we had everything we needed without interrupting our conversation. It’s a small thing, but it made the whole experience feel effortless. It’s been a long time since we’ve had service that stood out this much. Between the welcoming atmosphere and the exceptional staff, this was such a great experience that I felt it deserved a review. I’ll definitely be back!
Emma served my friends and I for dinner and she was awesome and so so friendly. Despite how busy it was, she kept tabs on our table at regular intervals and made sure we always had drinks. I had briefly mentioned wanting a shaft to drink after she had brought our first round, and she offered one to me the next round, so I was very impressed that she remembered! Otherwise, the atmosphere was great. I really liked how open it was with the patio and large open windows. The tree on the inside was also super cool. It’s a little tricky to find, but the girls on the phone helped us navigate to the entrance. The food was delicious, don’t get me wrong, but didn’t particularly stand out to me, hence the 4/5 stars there. This was a great experience and I would absolutely recommend trying it out, just book in advance because it was quite busy. I will definitely be coming back here with more friends in tow!
