A surprisingly great taco stop. The menu is simple with just three proteins with Longanisa, bistek, and pork, but all were very flavorful and satisfying. The salsa and cactus toppings on the side added a nice fresh touch. It also helps that they take cards, which made ordering easy.

2025 #194 (CDMX 2025 #101): originally came here back in 2015. Was in the area after taking some friends to el Monumento a la Revolución and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered two tacos de campechano, and they were fantastic. Handmade, larger-than-average tortillas with excellent, thinly-cut steak with tasty longaniza. An incredible salsa bar. Tacos cost $38 but are absolutely worth it. There's another stall/stand in here selling cheaper tacos with a more pared down salsa bar, but I'd recommend going to the "main" one on the left. I will be returning soon for more campechano and/or bistec taocs soon.

Enjoyed Excellent double bistek tacos with toppings including mashed potatoes, cooked nopales strips, frijoles, 3 levels of salsa spiciness along with limes. The fruit licuados are made with milk and the fruit aquas are made with water to order - you can determine the amount of sugar they use, a great option.

Best tacos I tried when I was in CDMX. My recos are suadero, cheek tacos. Also best paired with their aguas frescas. Went there three times during my stay.

This place is an absolute must! The service is quick and the tacos are the best. Good variety and a great street vendor atmosphere with a few indoor seats and tables and plenty of standing counters. You've got to try it!

Had the pleasure of dining here several times these past two weeks. Food and service is top notch! My favorite tacos were the Campechano de Longaniza y Chuleta with an Agua Fresca de naranja. Everyone is so kind and welcoming! I even stopped by tonight to say goodbye since I won’t be back til May. El Progresso has some of the best tacos I had in Mexico City and genuinely cannot wait to come back!

Really good tacos for an affordable price, not much seating and the area is a bit small so it does get cramped. I recommend the campechano. They are pretty big so 3 should be enough for most people. Tortillas are made fresh. Card accepted.

A no-nonsense taco delight. They have three basic meat options - beef, sausage and ham. Toppings of your choice and fresh cooked soft tacos. People literally line up and eat them on the street. Food was delicious and staff super friendly.
