Juan was wonderful. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel genuinely welcomed with his warm and attentive approach. His suggestions were spot-on, and the service was impressively quick—from exquisite appetizers to beautifully prepared meals. The quality of the food was nothing short of sensational. Love the vibe of this place, beautiful restaurant! Great service and really good tacos! We came in around 5:40pm and it was empty but quickly filled up so will definitely recommend doing a reservation beforehand. The only disappointment was the keylime.. overly sweet and bitter to taste, hence the 4 stars. Otherwise, we loved it! The in house beer tastes delicious too :)

Absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant. Everything was amazing.The El General Chapo and the tacos al pastor… HOLY GUACAMOLE next-level flavor. Fresh, bold, and perfectly done. One of those places you keep thinking about after you leave. 100% coming back.

Amazing authentic Mexican food! Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. Sam, Olivia and all the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The warm, cozy atmosphere adds to the experience and makes it a great place to enjoy a meal with family or friends. Highly recommended if you’re looking for genuine Mexican cuisine and outstanding service. We will definitely be coming back!

Went on a Saturday night at 8PM and even though we didn’t have a reservation, we were seated at the bar first, and then they were really nice to arrange us a table. We got some drinks to start, and the staff was very nice, very chatty, and overall very outgoing. Once we got our table, we ordered the food: tried the birria tacos, tostadas, Pollo Hermanos taco, and the e’steak. Everything was delicious and very fresh. The portions were very filling, and we honestly enjoyed every dish. (Apologies for the bad picture I was too excited and ended up just taking 1) The owner was also there making sure everything was going well, and you really get the vibe that they care about their product. He was very nice, you could see him bringing dishes and overall making sure everything was running smoothly. I would definitely be visiting again

Very good service, nice ambiance. Prices are a little higher than most places, but the food was good. I didn't think the escondite experience deal for $45/person was worth, as I could get the items that come with it for cheaper, maybe I just didn't understand it Didn't like the tip options were starting from 18% instead of 15 or 12...

Recently went to Escondite in West Island to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was not our first time, and once again it did not disappoint. The food was amazing... always super authentic, especially their new Barrio taco ... so much flavor! The best part of the evening was the service we received from our host, Olivia! She was fantastic!! So pleasant to speak with, extremely customer focused and had a great conversation with her ... she really made the whole evening a great experience ... thank you Olivia!! Highly recommend it to all folks who want to have an authentic Mexican meal, along with outstanding service!! 5stars all the way :)
