Randomly found this restaurant while we were visiting collingwood. And I am so glad we did because it was so good. We got their weekend special shrimp appetizer, with chicken and salmon plate. So good and very flavourful. Highly recommend this place
Wow! This is a great place on the main drag in Collingwood. Reasonable pricing, great food in an energetic atmosphere. The burger, upgraded to lamb and upgraded to add halloumi cheese was amazing…either the fig jam and soft onions doing some great work. Everything else seemed great. And service was over and above and considerate. Highly recommended.
A little slice of Greece right here in Collingwood Dinner at Fig & Feta tonight was nothing short of exceptional. I had the octopus dinner, perfectly tender, beautifully seasoned, and paired with a fresh, vibrant Greek salad that tasted like summer on a plate. My husband went for the stuffed pepper dinner, which was hearty, flavourful, and clearly made with care. But the real standout? A stunning gluten-free baklava made with rice flour. Yes, baklava that coeliacs can actually enjoy without compromise, and it was every bit as indulgent as the classic. Thoughtful menu, authentic flavours, and a genuine understanding of gluten-free dining make this spot an absolute gem. If you’re coeliac (or dining with someone who is), this place delivers both safety and sophistication. We’ll definitely be back!
We had an amazing experience at this local Greek restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely outstanding—everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly seasoned. The grilled meats were tender and flavorful, and the tzatziki was some of the best I’ve ever had. What really stood was the service. Our server was attentive without being overbearing and gave great recommendations. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. We’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to anyone craving incredible Greek food.
Very generous servings. Service was friendly although more DIY (wouldn't be bothered to cut a desert for sharing, put food in boxes, or served water -- you do it all). Everything I had tasted clean yet flavorful, both for appetizers and mains. Desserts were meh, a pool of lukewarm yogurt on a cheesecake, warmed by the hot plates.
Great atmosphere; one of best Greek restaurants ever; super clean tables, floors, and bathrooms. Dishes were very tasty. Host gentleman seemed a bit rushed while getting the order also forgot to check on us if we needed anything else; rather than this, everything were great.
Came here without reservations and got a table right away.. this was our third time here! The owner personally took our drink orders, and everything was great. We do wish they gave a bit more napkins and water but they were busy so we completely understand. The food is amazing, especially considering how expensive eating out is nowadays. If you’re going to spend money dining out, it might as well be somewhere worth it and this is definitely the place for that. Would definitely come back!!!
It was wonderful to get a seat right away. The server, Melissa, was so attentive and helpful in making our food selection. I had the chicken souvlaki with a side Greek salad, seasonal vegetables and lemon potatoes. My husband had the appetizer portion of the grilled octopus. His portion was perfect for him. My meal was delicious! The seasonal vegetables (kale, mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower and radishes steamed to perfection and smothered in butter. I will definitely come back! They also had some delicious looking desserts, but I was stuffed with my dinner. Maybe next time.
