All of the food was great and authentic, including their special beef noodle soup, stir-fried vegetables special, and any item on the menu I randomly chose. Their dessert items seem delicious although I never tend to have any room for dessert after their filling meals. The food may come slowly during peak hours, but other than that their service is brilliant and friendly along with their large dishes.
My daughter and I stopped by Green Leaf Bistro in Langford for a late lunch, and it was a good experience. This was our first time at this location since they moved from Goldstream and what a stark difference! We shared a vermicelli bowl and a kid‑sized rare beef pho, and both dishes were generous enough that, even though we’re usually big eaters,we left completely full with leftovers to take home.Since it was around 2 pm, the restaurant wasn’t overly busy, so the service was fast, efficient, and welcoming. The food arrived hot, fresh, and beautifully plated. You can tell they really care about presentation, and everything tasted just as good as it looked. I'm excited to go back and try other menu options
Went late this afternoon for early dinner first time trying it; heard the one downtown was good so gave this a go! The building is old and really needs a major face lift but the food was totally amazing wife had the 37 crispy noodles with prawns and veggies I had the traditional chicken Vietnamese sub sandwich and it was delicious! Ordered the deep fried tofu and it was amazing fresh ginger and onion in a nice sauce. They make their own hot chili sauce; the service was good. They are closing this one and moving to Colwood corners. Would love to go back and try the many menu items food was fresh and delicious! A+
The location was stunning! I like the look of the restaurant, the parking lot is spacious, the service was excellent and with just two of them serving they were able to maintain to serve in busy hours. The price, the amount if food they put on the table, the look.. Everything was excellent and in generous portion. No kidding!
Love their grilled pork dish with rice/vermicelli and spring rolls. We always order their #43 #46 #47 and #58, YUMMYVery comfortable place to enjoy your meals, meet friends or have family gatherings. Food was great and the portions are big. Prices are very reasonable too. If you order take out, it won’t take long. For dine in, remember to register your license plate for 90 min free parking.
Enjoyable place for an excellent Vietnamese dinner. The green tea is excellent and went well with our meals. Starting with the lightly fried tofu in ginger sauce, we had vermicelli lemongrass chicken & sugarcane shrimp dinners. Both were very good but know that sugarcane shrimp is a processed shrimp mix. All good and friendly service. I recommend a visit.
Simply awesome. I'm surprised that this restaurant offers more traditional Vietnamese dishes than Pho and Vermicelli. I especially enjoyed their Bo Kho. The beef had melt-in-mouth level of tenderness and was super flavourful. Their sausage summer rolls were super pretty and tasted fantastic as well. Surprisingly, the sausages were rather sweet. Definitely coming back for more.
