As always, food and service is excellent. Gyubee Markham is always consistent, which is so important and sadly harder to come by than you'd expect nowadays. The quality of the meat and honestly everything on the menu is . The service is also great. Ryan took care of us today, and he always had his eye out to see if empty dishes needed to be cleared or if our grill mesh needed changing. The attention to detail is noteworthy. This is consistent amongst most of the servers. It's important to join the waitlist because there's no chance you'll get a seat if you walked in during peak dining hours. We waited about 15 minutes today after receiving the call that our table was ready. Thanks Gyubee for always satisfying our cravings!

We ordered the Wagyu BBQ set, and everything was outstanding from start to finish. The marbling on the Wagyu was simply beautiful — perfectly sliced, richly flavored, and incredibly tender once grilled. Each bite was juicy, buttery, and melted in the mouth. Grilling it ourselves over the charcoal added a fun and interactive touch to the meal, and the quality of the meat really stood out. The scallops were fresh and sweet, and the presentation of every plate looked premium. From raw to perfectly seared slices topped with sauce and scallions, every stage of the meal felt elevated and carefully prepared. You can truly taste the difference in quality. What made the evening even more special was our server, Ryan. He was incredibly professional, polite, and attentive throughout the entire meal. He warm smile and friendly attitude made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. He explained the items clearly, checked on us at the right moments, and ensured everything was perfect. Excellent service like his makes a great meal unforgettable. We left feeling completely satisfied and genuinely happy. Great food, great atmosphere, and exceptional service. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

After a long wait, we were finally seated — and it was absolutely worth it! We had a great experience. The food was excellent, and I really appreciated that each type of meat had its own unique marinade and flavour instead of all tasting the same. Ryan took care of our table, and he was fantastic. He was always available whenever we needed anything, and he was very friendly and professional throughout our visit. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

Our family went on Mother's Day weekend for dinner. Reserve our spot on yelp waitlist Gyubee 3 hours ahead. Fresh food, good service. Table is a bit small for 4 people. Claire was helping us. She provided great service. We had good time here.

Our last visit was for lunch on a Thursday, it was around $30 per person, which is a great value, and definitely why I'm giving this a 5 star overall rating. there's a good variety of meats and the quality is solid. The dining time is 1 hour and 45 minutes, we found to be more than enough for a meal. I'd recommend the Miso Steak, and the chocolate ice cream was very good, too. For a BBQ place, the cleanliness was pretty good, and the ventilation was decent as well. Service was really attentive, staff checked in often to see if we wanted to order more, and drink refill were quick too. If you're in the area and craving Japanese BBQ, this is definitely on of those go-to spots.

Nathan was absolutely amazing . If I come back again, one of the main reasons will be the amazing food, but the biggest reason will definitely be Nathan. Nathan was absolutely outstanding! From the moment we arrived, he was friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful. He took the time to answer all of our questions, gave great recommendations, and made our experience truly enjoyable. His customer service went above and beyond our expectations and showed how much he genuinely cares about his guests. Thank you, Nathan, for making our visit so memorable. I highly recommend him, and I look forward to coming back again.

Absolutely delicious BBQ! The meat was perfectly grilled, flavorful, and so tender. I actually came here two years ago and loved it just as much then too! A huge shoutout to Caleb, who took great care of us throughout the meal. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. My only small regret this time is that they no longer have the ice cream cones for dessert. The cup version they replaced it with is still delicious, but I definitely preferred the original cones. Still fantastic service and amazing food — highly recommend!

Good location, easy to get to as it is close to many highways. Atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Lots of space/tables, but reservations are recommended. Food is fresh and tasty. Lots of fat on the meat, so makes it a bit heavy, but otherwise, no complaints. Easy to order food and a good amount of wait staff. Cash and debit only, with cash giving a very slight additional discount.
