INCREDIBLE meal and just a lovely evening! Can’t wait to return. Our server, Silvio was friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer our questions. We ordered and enjoyed the Caesar salad, crisp and delicious, the caprese salad was also fresh and flavorful. The seafood cannelloni was probably the best of three dishes, rich and delicious and a large portion. The ravioli special and ling cod were also delicious, all served hot and with perfect timing following our salads. These were enjoyed with a glass of wonderful house crisp white wine! All in all a perfect evening, which we were fortunate to get in due to a canceled reservation. Thank goodness for waitlists, love it when they work. Would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.

I’d love to share our amazing experience at Il Covo! We had an incredible dinner! The portions were generous and everything felt truly special. We ordered the Impepata (the mussels were huge!), the Genovese, and the Cioppino (which had an absolutely incredible amount of seafood in it). Every single dish was outstanding, the whole dinner was an explosion of flavor!! We also tried the Dolce for two (these were the best desserts I’ve ever had!!!) Honestly, I can’t even say what I liked the most because everything was unique and absolutely delicious. A special thank you to our server, Raimondo. He was incredibly attentive and professional. We left absolutely delighted and will definitely be back!

From the minute we arrived I was blown away by the whole experience in this amazing restaurant. Walking through the magical entranceway, surrounded by greenery and flowers secured a beautiful little intimate Spot to enjoy our meal!

What an exceptional find in Victoria! We were happy to see a trattoria during our visit and absolutely adore this place. The outdoor seating is beautiful situated in a garden setting and well protected from rain, as we learned! Aside from the gorgeous dishes of delicious food, a highlight of the night was spending time talking about Italy with our waiter, David, whose kindness was much appreciated throughout the evening. This place is a must visit for the delicious food options, beautiful decor, and exceptional service.

One of the BEST meals I've had, with some of the best service anywhere. From diverse wine/drink options to stellar food quality/taste to garden-like surroundings, we were completely gruntled.

Service was great and our server recommended the special of the day upon seating. The restaurant has nice ambient lighting and in a comfortable Italian setting with fixtures and details. I ordered the spinach gorgonzola, which was good but the portion was small and doesn't reflect the exaggerated pricing, and impepeta which was phenomenal and fresh. For the main course I ordered the cannelloni and my wife ordered the cioppino livornese. The cannelloni was delicious and was perfect. The cioppino was very salty and very hard to finish due to the sourness taste and again, overly salted. We both enjoyed the desserts and drinks. Overall, good experience with the service and food. A bit pricier than other Italian restaurants out there, maybe $2-4 more on average for each item on the menu. The minimal 18% tip is a bit extreme for just two people upon check out. I would consider trying other Italian restaurants out there in Victoria.

We sat at the bar today evening and enjoyed our experience quite a bit. Even though there was no available spot but the bar and we weren't thrilled about it, the excellent service turned it all around for us. We will definitely be back and will be recommending this gem to all our friends and family. Shout out to the amazing server who made our night. I'm so upset I can't remember his name.
