Very good thin crust (not soggy) pizza you can fold and eat with your hands! We had the Percy (pepperoni, truffle honey) and the Lyon (bacon, red onion, chili basil honey). Quality ingredients made the tasting experience very satisfying - however, the Lyon could have been better prepared as ingredients were not evenly distributed (I tasted only tomato sauce on one slice). The atmosphere was comfortable but extremely noisy due to two large groups - will probably order takeout next time.

Arguable the best pizza I've ever eaten. So good I had to let the owner know. I've tried alot in my lifetime and nothing compared to this spot, its in a bracket of its own. I tried to buy a coffee cup as a reminder of the spot, I know a coffee cup from a pizza joint, but it was a cool cup. But Eric (the owner) or maybe co-owner, gave me one for free. As a maritimer visiting ottawa on a work trip, I've heard of the spot and don't get me wrong. I understand people have their views on pizza, but this was light, crust was crispy, and it sit well when picking up a slice. I tried the deluxe I believe, I wanted to stay on the safe side for a first timer, but I'll definitely be trying more if or when I get the chance to go back. 9.1/10

One of my favorite pizza spots in Ottawa. Definitely recommend to go there and try their signature pizzas. Lovely atmosphere, welcoming and friendly staff, quick service, affordable prices and definitely delicious food.

I tried the mushroom pizza and the Hawaiian pizza here, and both were excellent. The pizzas came out fresh and piping hot, which made them perfect for a cold winter night. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were really well balanced. What also stood out was the atmosphere. The place has a quiet and cozy ambiance, making it a great spot for a date night or even just catching up with someone without having to deal with loud noise. I’d definitely recommend making a reservation beforehand, especially during busy hours, since walk-ins may end up waiting for a table. Overall, a really nice dining experience. (Crazy/funny thing was Mr bean show in the gents bathroom and individual screen for each person. See the photos.)

It took me so long to finally try this place because I live on the “outskirts.” I heard from a friend that this was a really good spot for pizza, and by golly, was it delicious. I’ve been craving a really good thin crust pizza like this for a long time, ever since I lived in Laos. I know, not the place you’d think would have good pizza. But there was an Italian man who owned this amazing restaurant and he nailed the pizza every single time. Since then, nothing has compared… until tonight. I took it home and had an hour+ drive. The pizza didn’t even last. I ate it in the car because I just wanted a “taste” before I drove off…And by “taste” I mean pizza was devoured. The cherry on top is that the place and atmosphere are so nice. Not sure why I was expecting a hole in the wall lol. They make their own garlic dip and the garlic and chili was absolutely delicious. The pizza, however, doesn’t even need it because it’s already so flavourful. Highly recommend for takeout because pizza is yum, and also a great place to sit and dine. They’ve got a bar with friendly staff too—really can’t go wrong!!

I ordered the Gilmour- Hawaiian. It was packed with flavor, never tasted anything like this before, smoky bbq sauce, the sweet pineapples, it just bursts with flavor. It was my first time ordering here not knowing what to expect; that said, if you're a cheese lover, or like a cheesy tasting pizza, you will be dissapointed, it was very thin on the cheese side. I also like "thin crust", but this bring it to another level, it's definitely "paper thin". A solid 4/5 for me.

Came here for a late lunch with some friends a few months ago and wanted to leave a review. When we got there the place was near-empty so we were able to be seated and served right away. I ordered the Queen Elizabeth which was by far some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! All the flavours really came together in the toppings and the crust was super soft. I traded slices with my friends and I can’t remember what they got, but their pizzas were delicious too! The service was also great and the interior is so cozy! I’ll definitely be back!

I went to Pizza Nerds few days back and I loved each and every pizza we ordered! We ordered Bank Mushroom, Jalapeno Popper, Queen Elizabeth - goat cheese and Albert Kimchi!! I went in for my pizza cravings and they served it right!! They have a lot of vegan and vegetarian options along with meat pizza options. Most of all pizzas you can change it to vegetarian or vegan if you like, that's music to my ears. The service was excellent, they were very friendly and accommodative and welcoming, I'd definitely go back and I highly recommend this Wood Fire Pizza's in Ottawa!!
