I’ve been to The Chase twice, once for a business lunch and once for the New Year’s Eve dinner. The food has been consistently excellent. Every dish was very well executed, and the steak in particular maintains a high standard. The service is also very pleasant, attentive in a thoughtful way without feeling intrusive. It’s an excellent choice for business lunches. The only reason for the 4-star rating is our New Year’s Eve dinner experience. The five course menu took almost three and a half hours. There were long gaps between courses, and by the time the next dish arrived, we were already quite hungry again. That said, the service remained professional throughout. The staff proactively apologized for the delays and kindly offered complimentary bread, which was very good. Later we noticed that nearly every table received the same, suggesting the kitchen was running slower as the evening went on. This is a restaurant I truly enjoy and often recommend, and I hope to see continued improvements, especially in pacing during special occasions.
