First time and definitely not the last time. Kylie was our server and she was great. She was refilling our drinks without asking, and was attentive to our requests. The food was awesome and plentiful. I liked the little toutches like having the lemon wedge with the drinks and the fact that we get served icecream and a hot drink at the end of our meal. A great place, delicious food, and a great service. Thanks!
Great overall Experience for Lunch at The Old Spaghetti Factory in WEM!!!! Aside from the Great food, menu, selection, Hot Bread Etc. It was The Awesome Service provided - Especially by my our Server Britni!!! Talk about service with a We shall be Back!!!
We had a wonderful experience here, I was here with my dad and brother. Our server Sukh was so efficient and helped us with every need we had. Best serving experience ever. Our food was delicious and this restaurant helps build a strong familial connection that will last for generations. I love the unique decorations and furnishing here. One small downside was our plates seemed a little dirty, but once we mentioned it we got new plates immediately (although the new plates also seemed a bit dingy — possibly a dishwasher issue)
Love the environment love the pictures on the walls Services was little slow food was better than medium should have been better.
We have been coming here for years. Its always quite good and its a pretty decent price considering you get a soup or salad, unlimited garlic bread and a bowl of ice cream included with each entrée you order. Last night (May 27/26) however it was an extraordinary experience! We were seated in the section in front of the bar. We had a server who was perhaps pretty busy. Didn't see him too much, but the bartender, Alessia (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was absolutely fabulous! She was flitting back and forth between tables and running food and checking on if everyone was OK and bringing refills on bread and drinks so fast and efficiently, and all with a warm smile and great personality!! I asked her if she was the manager because that's the kind if care and energy she was giving to each table! I specifically asked her name so I could do this review. Give this young woman a raise! She is a credit to the restaurant! We will likely come back sooner, than later because of this service! AMAZING!
**5/5 Stars – A Nostalgic Gem That Never Disappoints!** We made the drive from Airdrie on a chilly January evening, and wow—what a fantastic choice! The Old Spaghetti Factory at Marlborough delivered one of the most enjoyable family dinners we've had in ages. From the moment we stepped in, the nostalgic vibe hit just right: antique decor, stained glass, that iconic old trolley car dining section—it's like stepping back in time in the best way possible. It's cozy, fun, and perfect for groups or a relaxed night out. Our server (shoutout to the amazing team there!) was incredibly friendly, efficient, and made us feel so welcome. We started with the warm sourdough bread with garlic butter—always a highlight—and the minestrone soup was hearty and flavorful. For mains, I went with the **Chicken Parmigiana**: perfectly tender chicken, crispy breading (not overly salty or hard like some places), smothered in rich marinara and melted cheeses, served over classic spaghetti. My partner had the Mizithra Cheese & Browned Butter Spaghetti—such a unique, delicious twist with that salty Greek cheese and nutty butter. Portions are generous, everything was hot and well-seasoned, and the "all included" deal (soup/salad, bread, spumoni ice cream or coffee/tea) makes it incredible value—felt like we got way more than we paid for! We finished with the spumoni ice cream—creamy, colorful, and the perfect light end to a hearty meal. The happy hour specials during our visit added even more bang for the buck. Everything tasted fresh, made with care, and brought back those great childhood memories of the chain. If you're craving comforting Italian classics in a welcoming, family-friendly spot with unbeatable value and charm, this is it. Highly recommend— we'll definitely be back soon!
Our recent visit to The Old Spaghetti Factory was made even more memorable as it hosted our girls’ volleyball team dinner with nearly 50 people. Managing a group of that size is never easy, but the restaurant created a warm and cozy atmosphere that allowed everyone to relax and enjoy the evening together. The energy of teammates, families, and friends all gathering in one space made for a great experience. Considering the size of our group and the volume of food and drinks being ordered, the staff handled things well overall. There were a few minor mix-ups with some food and drink orders, but given the scale of the dinner, it was understandable and did not take away from the overall experience. The team remained attentive and worked hard to keep everything moving smoothly. The food itself was enjoyable across the board. The kids were happy with the classic spaghetti with marinara sauce — a simple choice done well and always a reliable favorite. The French onion soup was rich and comforting with good depth of flavor. My wife’s Pesto Alfredo with shrimp delivered a creamy balance of pesto and Alfredo with tender shrimp throughout. I chose the Seafood Fettuccine, which was satisfying, hearty, and packed with seafood flavors that made for a great main course. Overall, The Old Spaghetti Factory delivered exactly what you hope for when hosting a large gathering: good food, a welcoming atmosphere, and an enjoyable experience. No large group dinner is ever perfectly seamless, but the team did a commendable job making a memorable evening for everyone.
